The First Thing...

What's the first thing you did when you switched Alignments and traveled from Paragon City <-> Rogue Isles for the first time?

I know we won't be having any characters doing this until about noon tomorrow, but when I was on the beta server with my Villain, I hopped on the sub to Independence Port and, seeing the distance I'd have to travel to get out of the zone, hung a sharp left and proceeded to get pwnd by Lusca for a free trip to the hospital.

Efficiency at its finest!

I'm going to start doing Villain side SFs immediately. That way, I have every TF/SF badge.

I suggest we merge TF and SF into TSF. That way we get a broader term.

Curse at myself for not being able to afford GR, thus being unable to see/use any of the new content other than what came with i18. I then repeatedly banged my head against the wall until I fell back out cold for roughly a minute, after which I went to go through my collection of toys, cards and other goodies. After I discovered I don't have anything that anyone would pay a decent amount for in the 'prep town usa' I call home, where I appear to be the only one interested in 'nerdy' things, I then went and sulked and now face the fact that I will be unable to ever get my hands on GR and thus should give up on the matter and that it was pointless for me to get my hopes up in the first place.

Moral of the Story: It sucks to medically unemployable.

<The above is sarcasm>

Although, I cannot say I am truly jealous of those who got GR, a little envious, yes, but not jealous.

Seriously though, I really hate the fact I can't afford GR. Maybe someday but not at the moment. Stupid crappy US Economy and the fact I can't work due to Medical reason. :/

Just got from Villain to Rogue. Crossed through Pocket D.

And climbed the ledges of the nearest building and looked at the bright blue sky.

I realize I could do this on any of my blueside characters any time. But, something about getting away from the grays and brown of the Isles, especially after the Morality mission, was a nice little reward.

Logged off in all the Day Job locations I couldn't get in Paragon City to get the bars in my badge window.

I don't own any furniture. I live with my grandma due to my medical condition and the fact she's the only family member I have that is willing to take care of me. I'm very grateful for her, she even pays my subscription fee.

Okay, time for a last resort: You don't really need both of your kidneys, do you?

Really, I only need to sale about 3 of a total of 1000 cards. The Egyptian God Cards, which are worth about $300 all together. It's REALLY hard to sale them individually.

I haven't done that yet on live. The plan for rogues is to get those defeat badges that are hard to get on redside. The plan for some of my heroes is to turn a few scrappers all the way and run the patron contact. Water spouts, shadow melds, and ball lightnings oh my!!

I didn't plan ahead for anything and so I only got started last night, but I have a MM who is level 45 but only trained to 43, and that's because I could never be bothered to pick a patron and work through the patron arc. I did that once for my brute, I didn't want to have to do it for my MM, for whatever reason. It just didn't appeal to me.

So that seemed like a perfect excuse to go Rogue (and probably Hero after that). Plus, tromping around hero-side with all of my robots sounds like fun. I'll definitely stand out a bit more than redside. ^_^

So with that in mind, I did 5 tip missions last night and am ready to do the rest tonight! Paragon here I come!

I did my first tip mission this morning as an experiment. I was sort of afraid it wouldn't count because I don't have GR yet (it's in the mail!) but it worked properly as far as I can tell. I'll be running more soon and by the time I finally get the box I should be ready for the morality mission.

My MM is going rogue (and possibly hero) but most of my other characters will just be "re-affirming" to get the alignment powers.
