Yes, she just moved and is getting settled in. I saw a post somewhere (Twitter, maybe?) that said it was going to have to be at the end of the month, after its release, and apologizing.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

Yep, as I posted on my Twitter account (@Samuraiko for those who want to follow me), my GR trailer will not be available until the end of August. My furniture FINALLY got delivered, and now I am frantically trying to organize my apartment so I don't have to constantly go "where is such-and-such?" (a major hassle, let me tell you).
I have it storyboarded, I have the music and titles ready to go... I just need to get in and film. (And I'm hoping that someone *coughcoughBABcough* will give me the MOV command for that Praetorian salute thing.)
*shrugs*
And to be honest, with all the hoopla about GR, the ViDocs that the devs are producing, and the discussion (such a polite term) about the changes to the forum, I really didn't think anyone would notice if I didn't do one at all, let alone whether it was late. Guess I was wrong.
But yes... tl;dr version - the Ko will have your vid within 2 weeks (I hope).

Oh come on Michelle, you should know this community by now.
Your vids help this community as much as anything fan done. It's just those of us who are fans of yours understand.
Just keep up on BABs for that particular salute and get your furniture in. We'll wait. (Oh BTW, when's the next chapter of Superhero Romance II going up?)

Seriously! Is it so wrong that I'm looking forward to your Vid as much as I am to the release itself?
Your stuff has gotten larger than just fans & players excited about seeing the in-game stuff, we all really appreciate your uber production skillz in general. Each piece is like a little work of art. Has a dramatic arc, great soundtracks, clever editing, emotional moments, inside jokes, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
Good luck getting settled after the move, and HUGE THANKS for all that you've already done, and will do.

I've been playing for over a year, and I've seen a few issue releases. As soon as three months in, I was searching for Samuraiko's trailers if I heard/read about an impending update. And I'm not even around much on the forums (I'm too hooked on the game itself).

But the settling in is going... along. And as I mentioned above, I am finally starting to get nibbles toward my job searching (couple of phone interviews, couple of face-to-face interviews, nothing yet, but still hoping).
Mostly though, I am trying to figure out how to improve on my previous work - a video like the GOING ROGUE trailer has the potential to really impress people, or really tank, and I keep trying to do better each time so that my demoreel has quality work in it. It'd be really easy to kinda just 'wing it' and go, "okay it's done, here"... but then I'd feel guilty. So... yeah.
I'm doing my best, I promise. And it is nice knowing that someone cares about me doing one. (That's not me fishing for compliments - it really does mean a lot, especially when the depression hits and I ask myself, "WHY am I doing this again?")
