Three Round Hami Raid

Ok.. The way I understand this whole thread regarding "whatever" rounders.. hero's finally figured out they can drop a nuke ONCE and omit two blooms thus cutting around 8 minutes off a hami raid. Villians have never had the choice if they wanted a raid in under an hour a bio is a necessity. In fact, many wouldn't even do red raids because the preparation just took too much time( so hard to go get a ******* nuke, huh?). So? I don't get the arguement here really. Drop your bios twice in a raid and kill hami in 20 minutes... everyone gets their merits.. everyone is happy. If you want to make it quicker than dont retreat at all and call for raiders ALL to pop an eoe twice in the raid.. big whoo.

So much analyzing for no good reason. The public has proven they want more for less. Such is the mantra of the gaming world.

EdiTed because if I were typing about a brand spankin new hami raid group my " big whoo" would not fly.You guys arent brand, spankin new . Quit overanalizing. Go .. Eat EOE... Drop a bio... kill hami.. HAVE FUN!!

After reading your last 10 recent posts, where 6 of them were swearing at people, I just have to ask out of morbid curiosity: Does anything in this game make you happy?

On a thread related note: Starcraft II+Hami=Zergadon. Someone who can draw, please make this happen.

Or the praetorian version of hami.

Exactly. Have a rough raid, and people will ***** about it unto the ends of the earth...regardless of their understanding of "why" the raid was rough.

Have a couple rough raids in a row, turn-out drops...making the raids harder, and so on.

I think it's a useful exercise, so you keep your string of wins (and hence turn-out) up.

Thanks for the feedback, please let me know the next time you lead a raid so I can see your tactics in action. Or, could you be a bit more specific on the timing of your two Bio drops.

This "over analyzing" that you speak of is exactly why Justice is the raid server. It is why we can have 50 random people show up and still make a raid work. If it weren't for people early on, especially Q, who dissected, scrutinized, and came up with strategies that work (and work well), then WE would be the server that cries for Hami help, and not the server who answers the call.

Good luck on that, it's far safer to criticize from the sidelines.

Whatever. I really dont give a **** if you all diss me. I sent Nuclear a pm 2 or 3 days ago with the answers to what he asked. Not my problem if he doesn't use it and also not my problem if perhaps I told him a strat he already knew.. I really don't think he would have asked about nuke and eoe timing if that were the case though. TBH, its not top secret info... been around since hc people started stretching after hami got revamped. I mean really? Any raider with the raid dynamic down( yea all teams etc) could figure it pretty quickly if they ever participated in what y'all call a one or two rounder.Any of you could have answered his questions by simply thinking outside the"JUSTICE" BOX . But "no" more fun to be an *******.Another fact is Justice has one thing going for it over other servers... solid yellow teams.. always. So? To those of you that say " we include blah blah".. ********. You include" blah blah" because as Pumbumbler said a page or so back THIS server has behind the scenes people that show on a regular basis to carry the raids. Hami success is influenced by a very small percent regarding "raid leaders". Other servers knock it out faster and have just as much fun.

Why a pm? Mod12 aint got nothin on most of you all. That worked great, huh?

You DON'T have 50 or 49( raid leader + those random) people show up and make a raid " work" and you KNOW it.

See what I did there with the "overanalizying" thing? ;P

Sorry, when was the last Justice raid you led?

Let's be honest, hamis are simple. People are complicated. Mastery of people is the only thing worth noting.

Let me expand on that. I'll offer up the same thing I've said for anyone who would lead a raid - I'll support you. I'll lead a team, be present and help in anyway I can, to the fullest extent of my ability.

All it takes is for you to lead people. Y'know, the ones you disdainfully see as mere pixels.

Which I don't.

Very good.

Next you'll attack my being with the N P C project, yes?

And still, madam, I submit that it is you who have the opportunity to lead something, instead of simply fearfully and disdainfully insulting from the sidelines.

I don't insult anything. I offerred input. I gave input. Very concise input via a pm to answer specific questions asked in the thread. Thats all. Take the info or leave it. No skin off my nose either way.

I dont want to lead a hami and have no intention of doing so. I have my fun just doing hami's these days as the odd player that might be incremental if the team lead faceplants. Although its alot more fun if everything goes smoothly. That doesn't mean I don't want Justice to have a successful 1 rounder on a consistent basis. I also know you guys and gals can do it easily if you will just do it. I'm not " fearfully disdaing" anything. You all can.

Take that however you want.

To Enrious: I don't know what the N P C project is but I wish you luck with it.. The simple fact that you have to tout ingame achievements as if they are some kind of accomplishment just boggles me. Most balanced people don't need a pat on the back for every nonprofit activity they undertake.

One of the reasons why this whole issue exists is because there are a small number of people who feel entitled to drop into the captain's chair and think that sitting in it is all that is required.

Whilst it may look easy in many respects, leading requires that you have the respect of your command chain on down.

Justice has always been great in this area because so many are qualified to sit in that chair; they've earned their stripes. This has meant that a good number of people have rotated in and out of the seat, and made it look easy. Sometimes too easy. Justice has also been great in that that core group of people have been very magnanimous in letting people sit in that chair for short periods even though they may not have earned it.

Sometimes this has irked people from both sides of the fence. Some believe that Justice is a welfare state while others believe they should have a turn no matter what the traditional raid leaders may feel about them.

Like everyone has said in this thread, Hami is easy. It is a public raid, so everyone can do and try what they want. I think and hope we are beyond the days of hami griefing, so if people want to try different raid types and events they should feel more than welcome to.

No one should feel that they must help someone if they don't like them, as long as they don't hinder them everyone can peacefully coexist.

My Hammy has a first phase; it's M-I-T-O-S.
My Hammy has a second phase; it's H-O-L-D, hold.
But don't attack him first, they say.
For if you do then Hammy maaaaaaay . . .
Filled the Hive with Mitos, yay! and all the heroes D.O.A.

You taunt the yellows out
You scrap the yellows down
You hold the green ones close
Then you shoot the blues around.
You do the Hammy Lammy then you run your arses out
THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT!

Hi Ditzy,

Thanks for the pm, I've just now gotten the chance to respond, and I appreciate the greater detail you went into and the additional information regarding the timing of the nuke drops. I'll look to putting the info to use as I get closer to trying a 2 round, 1 round, and at some point even a "zerg".

The reason I ask the questions I do is to make sure I understand the mechanics of the raid. To that end, I have an additional question regarding nukes, that anyone can field. Do Bio nukes buff all in the radius or are they capped at a set number of toons?

Justice has a wealth of knowledge on raiding, I'm hoping this thread can continue to stimulate the sharing of that information and spin off additional strategies and ideas.

See you all in the hive!

20 target cap. Pets count towards.

Like I said before, the only trick to it is to make sure you are buffed and EoE'd before summoning pets and nuking, as assuming there are enough to actually pull it off, hamidon will go down at a rate which makes further organized actions difficult.

Hery led several 'no round' and 1 round raids which were a success this way.

I find that a lot of people on Justice like to say nice things to your face and then trash you behind your back. Haven't really run into the whole elitism thing much, though. Usually it's more a problem of preconceived perceptions, rather than an epidemic of braggadocio.

However, I may be jaded since I'm an elitist speed tf runner.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.
