I look forward to being able to make it on time to the next one... and there had better be a next one >

Agreed. I'm switching up my gaming schedule since I'm only running the Sunday Rikti Rumbles letting me get on Wednesday night instead of the forced Thursday night for the 2nd Rikti Raid. I need to get back into Hami raiding anyhow.

I'm pretty sure Boss was going to try a three rounder tonight. I don't want to speak for him though.

Hi all,

Wednesday's are going to be funky for me trying to get nukes before Wednesday raids. I've got Tanker Tuesdays the night before and generally Wednesday is a busy day for me at work...so, the long and short is I'll have to plan out a 3 rounder a week or so in advance. That said, tonight I was caught short. I'm hoping next week to try a three rounder. Although I'm somewhat concerned that we'll either a) have enough nukes left from Monday's raid or b) be able to get them replenished by Wednesday's (I won't be able to myself, not enough hours in the day ).

Tanker Tuesdays: Meet in King's Row by IP Gate 6pm PT9pm ET.
1st Tuesday on Champion, 2nd Tuesday on Justice
3rd Tuesdays (Odd months) Freedom, (Even months) Virtue, 4th Tuesday, Tour, Server TBA
Brutal Thrashing Thursdays: Justice (ask Papa Slade when),meet in RWZ 6pm PT9pm ET.

Ok.. this won't get me any points but when did that ever bother me?

You don't need a plethora of nukes for this strat. Y'all already have the agro split required down perfectly. Just doo it . You have the people showing up and willing. Justice players are the best over all the servers. You can do it. Just take a minute to think so the organization suits you.

Before people bash me for this post please recall how many times I asked to do it this way last year.. take a minute to think.....refrain.

Yea... Im back and all that til Cata.

I'm actually going to agree with you Ditzy. I don't think we need a ton of them either. I'm not sure how many people used theirs on Monday, but it was more than enough.

Agreed, but I'll make sure to be loaded up with nukes for Wednesday since I won't be making the Tuesday Tanker nights or the Monday night raid, because when I am on those nights, I primarily tend to run TFs. So I'll have plenty of time to hopefully get all 3 plus Shivs. If not I'll just toss Chloe at Hami and see what happens.

Justice is spoiled with a cornucopia of good players and leaders. Starve'm a bit and they should stand upright and pay attention to the task at hand.

I did a dozen or so no-retreat, no temps a year or so ago (before you 'asked' for them) before I'd had enough drama and quit. Others did another half dozen or ten or so after that. So yes, we can do it. Its a matter of setup with people who can do what you ask and leading on the fly, and not as easy as all that, so I'd suggest less talk and more action if you are asking for them in that way. Less talk and more 'Ill do this for you' to take some of the load off the people putting it together.

Ok. I report to whoever to help in a successful " no retreat" raid. I think I missed all the drama you referred to Quartermain.

Edited to say sorry for the off topic part of my post that I deleted and because answering Q"s unfounded accusations isnt worth the bullmalarkey.

Simply replied to your 10 messages, and I'd be happy to repeat what I said there.

I don't really want to have anything to do with you because you make nice to my face while in the same minute telling others how much I suck, a pattern you've repeated with me several times over the last year or however long.

Isn't this the way Justice really works? More politics per person than the
Comintern.

I certainly hope not.

On a happier note, due to high demand, I'll be running Monday's raid as a 3R as well. I believe Warboss is going to run Wednesday's the same way.

Thank you all for making this possible!

He smells like catgirls and keeps bad cheese in "his basement"?

Actually I wouldn't mind learning how to lead a Hami raid. Who's up for training the nub? *flashgrin*
Seriously though, would love to learn how to tank/run aggro for Hami. I usually end up bringing a blaster or scrapper. So I'm not sure if my IO'd SD/Elec tank is up to snuff. Any tips or strategies would be great before I just jump in next Hami raid I get a chance with.

Bring a Tank on Monday. I'll have Brax get you on the Hami Aggro team, and you can learn from him.

And no, he won't mind that I volunteered him.

Yep, we'll do another 3 rounder on Wednesday, so make sure to get Nukes, shivans and Vanguard Heavies after the raid on Monday.

The blunt truth of it is that there are a critical few Justice players who will be able to carry a raid even if they are not leading.

Those few players are the hidden talent that usually carries a Justice Hami to the finish even when the other players or the overall leader isn't that well versed in strategies and/or leadership.

If/when those players do winding leading a raid, usually those are the ones that get completed the fastest/smoothest/most fun etc.

Those people are the blessing and the bane of Justice. They make things easy so others can be lazy/inept. I wish they'd all take a vacation from the game for a week so everyone else would realize how much those people actually contribute to Justice instead of just being taken for granted.

That being said, if you want to lead a raid as many others have done, your best bet is to get those hidden helpers of Justice to give you a hand. You probably know who most of them are. Some of them even can be lured out with bad cheese and/or catgurls.

Ugh, don't I know that. Not that I'm saying I'm one of the hidden talents; far from it. Just from leading the Rikti raids and watching others being ran, I notice the differences. I'm not great at leading them but they are fairly easy to run in my opinion. I think that's why I want to see if I can not totally botch a Hami run. >_<

And thanks Arwen. Much appreciated. I'll make sure to be on Monday with a pack of nukes and shivs.

Thank you all, once again, for making the three round raid so fun and easy. Justice never fails to come through!

I am in the process of going rogue with Ms. Darkblade, so I'll be back to leading raids with my Tanker next week. I'm going to need some strong Green and Yellow Damage team leaders to step up and help coordinate.

Warboss and I talked about our goals for the Yellow Aggro team, and getting the regular Tankers in the mindset of running no retreat raids, since the crux of it is how well they can jump out and pick up aggro again. I am of the opinion that this is best done by a good Yellow Aggro team leader so that the team runs as an autonomous unit within the raid structure. To that end, Warboss and I have worked out a system so that during the last phase, when I call for buffs just after the 50% mark, he and his team know to drop their nukes, and then get out to their targets. This has worked great the two times we have done it. As time goes on and we get closer to doing full on no retreats again, it is my goal to have good leaders in place who understand the process and can work with me to know when to jump out and take aggro again.

I'm incredibly happy by how well this is working. Looking forward to even more raid evolution.
