What Music do you Listen to when you play?
I generally just listen to the ingame music. I actually enjoy the sounds of CoX, and the little tunes when you enter a new distract, like for example Steel Canyon, Talos or RWZ.
Otherwise I just listen to my usual gay stuff like Madonna, but I have to say I love the immersion factor of the game and find other music distracting. So apologies to Madge and the others, but they usually get muted after a short stint. ;-)
None. I love music, but I hate not being able to hear the glowies when they are hidden.

Myself, I just use music from other video games that I've downloaded over the years.
I'm having a very hard time finding any music from either X-Men Legends games though.

Lotsa techno.
As a roleplayer, I tend to use music as a way to get into character, that is, when I'm not doing missions solo.
So a few characters have their own playlists. I try to rotate songs in and out every couple of months, but they're more likely to stay on there til the MP4 rots off the list...
Eg: Oryo Ryouko's playlist is heavy on anime soundtracks, mixed with music from the 80s, 90s, and the turn of this century. Just added "Jar of Hearts" by Christina Perry, simply as a mood piece. Oh, and let's not forget the J-pop! (Yu Hayami rocks, by the way!)
Mellissandria's got different soundtracks (Background music from the new Doctor Who, and again 80's 90's and 2000's music...), which is a little more eclectic as well-given she was a musicologist at one point in her life.
I also have been known to listen to the Cape Radio station, being on Virtue. Also good for immersion, when hanging in the D some nights.
I do leave the sound effects on, but dampened down..(my loud is someone else's soft...), and turn down the ingame music.
Global is @Mellissandria
I don't have that much art, but I do write stories and I do collect art on
my DA account
I keep the ingame effects audible, but play political talk radio on in the background.
"All Systems Go - The Launch" from Apollo 13 is a pretty good way to log into a new issue. I think I picked that one up around the time Ouroboros arrived and it fits in perfectly.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

I have a classical symphonic playlist that I use for gaming once I've heard the game soundtrack too often. Mostly Slavs and Eastern Europeans: heavy on Rimsky-Korsakov, Moussorgsky, Stravinsky, Dvorak, Smetana, Bartok, some Tchaikovsky. A fair amount of instrumental Wagner, some individual Beethoven movements. Some Bach organ pieces.

Right now Skinny Puppy. (By now i mean until the playlist i threw together of every release runs out. Should take a while.)
Fairly common to play no music at all.
Over the weekend it was mostly a medley of The Retrosic, Suicide Commando, Rotersand and similar artists.
It really varies. Sometimes i throw together a playlist that reflects the character i'm playing.
i have several characters that i've selected theme songs for and will tend to queue those up when i log in that character.
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
Usually depends on the toon. Blasters/Corrs - Aggrotech, Tanks - Metal, Scrappers/Brutes - Industrial, Trollers - usually a smattering of EBM. Of course no playlist is complete without a bit of boss or wife and child aggro.
90% of the time, TheThe, otherwise its the ingame sounds.
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
Lately, I've been listening to music from the 60s and 70s--rock, pop, soul, and even disco and some country music(!). Growing up in the 80s, I really didn't get exposed to 60s/70s music that much, so its almost like listening to brand new music to me. Quite frankly, I've been shocked by how much incredible music was made back then. IMHO, it just blows away the vast majority of the garbage that has been produced in the past several years.
Wow. I must be getting old. I'm starting to sound like an old fuddy-duddy.
I usually listen Chipmunks or Watchmen soundtrack. =3
