There is no guarantee that you will. Technically the original offer only discussed pre-ORDERS getting access.
Also, we have no idea... ask the Devs (but they ain't telling).
Actually the general question brings up a good point - with less than two weeks to go, will there be an open beta at all?

More than likely not. There wasn't an Open Beta for CoV, so there is no reason to assume there will be one for GR, especially with only two weeks until launch.

They announced the loyalty program waves, but no vet waves or pre-purchace waves?
Guess this is the story of..."Buyer Beware"
I learned my lesson, won't pre-order from Paragon Studios again unless they promise or guarantee access into beta like Cryptic did with CoV, least I recieved a pre-order box that was a sign of their promise...all I have looking forward is aug 17 to come closer in 2 weeks

Hopefully, I want to get an Elec/Elec dom in praetoria out of my system on test so I can focus on a Kin/Will brute in villains to rogue on live.
Loyalist, Resistance, Hero, Villain. All boring, Rogue is where the fun is.
40+ month veteran, and only one 50(+3)
My input/requests is just as good as your as I spend $15 Just like you do.
If you all pre-purchased Going Rogue just to get beta access, maybe you should re-evaluate your priorities. Closed Beta is for TESTING and finding bugs, not playing with the new shinies. If that is all you want to do, then CB is definetly not for you.
If you really want to get down to it, the devs could let you in the last day of CB which means you were in fact given CB access.

Not that either is being done - just stating my preference.
No it is awful of the devs to give people who pre-purchased very little time to beta test it. I would like to be able have input in GR, but at this point all the features are locked and probably 95% of the bugs are squashed. I also will never pre-purchase from them again.

Vet Fanboi's always cover up on developer blunders, cause they are blinded by the truth that the business marketing and plan procedure didn't work out the way it did, and PEOPLE ARE ANGERY, I mean how many posts have there been by DIFFERENT FORUM USERS asking "What about that Tier Beta Access", how many posts even WANTED A REFUND because the "eye of the beholder" didn't read everything to a T, or were told later "YOU HAVE TO BE IN GOOD STANDING"
It's a crock, get used to it, I did..there are people always breaking the rules of the NDA in game and other places like this(chest pieces,shoulders, background ALL breaking NDA), but those are aren't in it, get told time and time again BETA IS FOR TESTING, but I can assure you, people might be testing and reporting things here and there, but I've read from others that they are just pre-designing on what new alts and costumes they want their Hero/Villain to look like, I would have been been one as well, and probably telling the devs that Kinetic Melee better not be slow in animation time like Energy Melee's Energy Transfer and Total Focus, cause it's counter productive in Fury building, but hey, that's just me...
All these threads that pop up point to one crazy idea...BETTER MARKETING AND ANNOUNCEMENTS...

1) I am NOT in the Closed Beta
2) I Pre-Purchased, like the 2 of You
3) I am not now, nor have I ever been an employee of NC Soft or any affiliated company, paid or otherwise.
In short, I am customer, just like the two of you.
Now, if the two of you somehow believed that pre-ordering would automatically qualify you for beta entry, I don't know why. The pre-purchase page never said that. No developer or community rep has ever said it either, as far as I know. If you assumed you would, that is your own assumption and you can't get mad at anyone else because of something you assumed for no other reason than because you wanted it to be true.
That being said, sit back and relax. Only 13 days to go before it's live. Just imagine you're still a kid and it's almost Christmas.

How about "Get a Head Start on Going Rogue before it Hits The Shelves!!"
They did that like CoV, I bet there would have been less threads like these, but since all that was announced was Beta, it gives the notion that there will be a chance to get into Beta (even if that's only for Aug 16) so as I say, "Better Announcements, and Better Marketing" was key here...
I rather have a Head Start like CoV did than Beta Access anyhow...
