Triumph is not dead, you just aren't looking hard enough. Compared to the other heavy-populated servers, yes, it can seem to be dwindling. I'd prefer a small server than a huge multi-lagplex any day.

Triumph is not dead. Here's the test. Go to RV. Send a message on Triumph Watch that you need help killing the AVs in RV... Blue side. Stand and watch all the Villians that will come help ya. =)

It's looked pretty lively to me over the past couple of months at least...no trouble finding teams either blueside or redside.
I think Triumph just tends to be a quieter server...doesn't mean the people aren't there however.
Eagles may soar, but Pigions don't get sucked into Jet engines.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.
Here's the perspective of someone who started some alts on Tri (and moved a 50 over with the last lot of server transfers), stayed for a bit and has now moved most of the characters off again. (Just left a few so I can play if all the West coast servers go down.)
I'm used to a 'quiet' server but I'm also used to being able to find teams. When my friends quit, I used the channels to find teams and TFs. Eventually I got invited to private channels too. (For example, on another server I get teams/TFs from four channels of which three are private.)
On Tri, I joined TW 2.0 and TW 2.1 from the start. I also added Triumph LFG before I made a final decision to leave. My experience of the channels was pretty poor. They are more akin to a rec room than a place to find teams (IMO, YMMV).
When the tab lights up I want to see either a good chance to do a TF or SF, an interesting discussion on powers or sometimes some amusingly bad MT.
Reams of "no u" and "PL meh" don't entertain me. I don't care if you have twice as many vet badges as me, that doesn't mean I want to read you spamming because you were in the initial beta. I want to see someone LFG in the public channels so I can get known and join others!
I've met a couple of lovely people on Tri but not enough to make me stay and deal with the clique. Each server does have it's own flavour and Triumph is no more appealing to me than Freedom but for very different reasons.
I'm certain the response from most members will be "ololo get lost good riddance" and feel free to post that because I have no need to visit this sub again. 
However, for those of you who do care; there is an honest (and unwelcome) opinion from someone new to this server and who really wanted to like it. I hope it's a exception rather than the rule because if not Tri WILL die as new people move off this server (hopefully not the game) and long term players leave the game.

Personally, I think the TW talk is part of Triumph's excellent 5 star++ would play again community, but it's is bound to rub someone the wrong way. You guys just talk more than anyone else so you're probably spammers to the wrong-rubbed people. Although I wonder why someone that finds that bad would play on a server famous for being pantless.

I've been monitoring a few server channels lately, and you guys don't chatter nearly as much as the Justice or Champion folks. IMO, y'all need to step it up a notch!
FWIW, I don't mind a little banter in between the TF/Badge/Team requests. Balance is a good thing.
