Can't remember what all i managed to do, though I did not get to play as much as I wanted to. When 2xp weekend is moved to the weekend before school starts it is horrible for me, trying to get my classroom together.

I would say my SG but I don't think we are what you are looking for. I just inherited this SG and even though we play most of the time that you are looking for we are not a really big group that does much in the line of RPing. Good luck in your search.

Sorry to hear about your friend Ardrea but I think that you did the right thing. Those that we help should have the common sense to talk to us about bringing in others that they meet about ideas that they have for the base. I also like your opinion, base building is a painting.

We both play lots on Triumph but seeing that we just inherited two new SGs on Victory but we are usually on.

I understand the "where is everyone" but playing on the western part of the US I think that I am just usually missing people.

Congrats, she is a cute baby. Enjoy these months of feed me and change me. Although watching her grow is the best thing in the world.

While I don't hire myself out (I have too much on my plate already) the one way that I can think of giving a good price is figure out about how much your character would make just playing in about an hours time and then that is your hourly rate. While we love base building it does take away time from doing other things like playing.

On a side note my husband will say that I like to base build sometimes more than actually play.

Sounds like she might pop any day. Just remember to take lots of snacks for you and some treats for the nurses, if they are homemade the better.

before all these changes and thing. The one thing that I found that has effected my SG the most was that when we started our SG (Troll and I) that people were only interested in a fully functional base with lots of members. Many people where not interested in helping to create a community. I love my SG and I recently just got two new ones because friends have left the game, I honestly think that yes they are trying to kill off bases and no one is interested in helping to do the work to build a good SG anymore.

I have been struggling with how to make one room in my base like an office. Okay I have been trying to do the Godfather Office... seeing this has just given me some ideas to work with. Thanks all.

Okay I really did miss something, what big Base Realignment?

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am back. While I never officially left COX I did bow out a little bit for real life.
As many of you might have known I gave birth to my wonderful daughter Alice in December.
Once the holidays were over I went back to work leaving my husband Ultra Troll to take care of our little girl. Needless to say I found that juggling both a job and newborn was harder than what anyone makes it look.
Now my daughter will be celebrating her 6th month birthday this month, and can now sit with me at the computer as I build and combat baddies (or those hero types depending on my mood).
I am looking forward to reading the forums again and working on my bases once more.

Thanks everyone. We are so enjoying our little girl, who is currently working on a tan in her bouncer seat... (okay she has a little jandus so she needs the sun but hey). We are enjoying every moment with her and all the little smiles she gives us every day. I know the time will pass to fast and she will be sitting, crawling, walking, and talking before I know it. Now when she can sit up she can play COX with both of us.
