When do you think we'll see some New Mace options from a Pack? or see a Mace Option in the Vanguard base?

BABs has already given his reasons for no Vanguard mace.

As for more Maces in general, I suspect you'll see them slightly after Battle Axe but before Katana...

With the introduction of shields I've seen more mace's being thwacked around. But ya in general people opt for a more potent power set *cough* broad sword *cough*

It was a large explanation on how talsorian fields work and why it wouldn't make sense to use them to make blunt weapons due to their low mass and fragility. However, why we can't get a non-talsorian vanguard mace hasn't been explained yet.

I'll give him all the credit in the world for atleast attempting to explain it. Much better than "Magic, we don't have to explain it."

Wait...This a game based on High Science, Comic Book Lore, & Magic, & other crazy stuff.

He's trying rationalize why there isn't a Talsorian Mace?

You build a Handle, Place in Thick Rod Frame, with the Energy between said frame, Ta-Da

-sighs-

Looking at Broadsword & Dual Blade's getting all these new things is neat, but Im a smasher, I feel for Katana some(yes they got A blade with Ninja pack, that is technically more then Mace has gotten & yes for awhile there, mace had the most custom's around), but they where not exactly spectacular. Axe could use couple more variant axe's the one's from ITF are nice though.

Mace's what?

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

Afraid your're behind the times. Maybe you don't play many tanks or brutes, but it's a much more popular set since it was buffed over a year ago.

As for underpowered, many would now give it the edge over Axe, for AoE damage in particular.

Not if they want to play a tank or a brute.

Just use the War Hammer and color it 2 shades of purple. Voila. Vanguard Mace.

"Behind the times" would be it (I never even noticed...but then, about a year ago was when my computer died and I was six months getting a new one).

I wouldn't have noticed on mine as I don't play him much and I don't pay attention to such things. To me, the difference would probably only be that before I'd have to hit something four times instead of three and that would just make me sure to carry blues. I picked my mace tank to make The Mighty Thunor as a concept so it's performance meant nothing to me personally.

Dec out.

I think I'd much rather get an honest answer of "We don't feel like doing it" than get a half-***** explanation. I still remember the guy's take on hospital teleporters and what happens to the criminals we fight.

"I just cut his head off before he teleported away!"

"Yeah, they can fix that at the hospital. Don't worry, he'll be put in jail."

Except it wasn't a lazy "I don't want to do it so here's a sudo-explination I pulled out of my butt." It was well thought out "this is how we invision these weapons worked and with in that frame work maces don't make any sense, so we aren't doing them."

See, I don't get that, either. They are the creators of this little CoH universe. The only limit to what they can and can't do is based on their imagination and creativity. The only plausible reason why they haven't designed certain weapons with Talsorian tech is because they don't want to.

They're also constrained by the logical frameworks they establish for said universe, otherwise the quality of their product suffers.
