Endurance Recovery

Yup, lots of ways. I've fallen back on laziness and just habitually five or six slot Stamina with appropriate Efficacy Adaptors. I have very little end problems after that, usually only on long protracted battles, and, hey, that's what blue Insps are for.

EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention that I still slot endurance reduction of some sort in almost every power, too. Just having Stamina alone doesn't eliminate that need.

Let's try not to confuse the people with questions. What you actually meant was ENDMOD (Endurance Modification), not EndRed (Endurance Reduction).

If you have the time to do some TFs, you can get those expensive IO pieces with Reward Merits.

Don't. Seriously. It may seem a lot of text to you, but it's really not. You're just expressin' yourself, man, so you don't need to stress out so much about how much - or how little - information you're giving us. This is a nice, meaningful manner in which to convey yourself, and nobody is going to be intimidated by this much text who's worth listening to.

Well, he mentioned that the +End proc was expensive to him, so I'm thinking "No" on the affording of high end IOs.


OP, some things that helped me save some endurance while fighting:

Don't use AoEs on single targets.

Turn Sprint off while fighting. For that matter, turn travel powers off while fighting.

If you have any DoT powers, learn to gauge if the DoT will kill your target before firing another attack.

I am constantly amazed at the number of players who go into combat leaving Sprint, Superspeed, Ninja Run, Fly, etc. toggled on, and end up having their blue bars bottomed out all the time. That's a good point, but the main problem there for me is that the declining server population makes it hard for me to find a team to do anything, really. Much less find TF teams to farm merits.

Thank you as well. Another reason I started off with that comment was because the entire post was originally for the support center. But yeah, it was mainly about the rambling and not so much the grammar. If I were to consider typing something without punctuation or capitalization, I'd probably be blind at the time. I can't stand those type of posts, it's just repulsive to read.

None of those were really a problem for me. If I'm chasing down a single target that isn't close enough to the mob for the AoE to have effect, I wait for my single-target skills to cooldown.

My blaster uses fly as his main travel power so I keep hover on during battles for the defense bonus and usually to convert my knockback into knockdown. (Plus, it's just freakin' awesome to be raining down death on your enemies from above)

I'm an Energy/Energy Blaster so I have no DoTs. (None that I know of, anyway)

I'm fairly positive my entire problem is the lack of endurance reduction on individual powers. I must have been so concerned with maximizing my damage potential when I first played that I figured I could keep my endurance high with full recovery bonuses from sets. (Which is also because I had misunderstood the formula for the recovery in the first place, I know better now)

I haven't actually changed my build yet because the (seemingly) dead population on my main server makes playing the character extremely boring, so I started another character on a different server. I will definitely be going over this thread again and attempting to fix my build the second I get on my Blaster, though. Thank you all for your help and I appreciate the fast responses.

Then get involved with your server's global channels. Don't take this the wrong way, because it's not really directed at you per se, but it always boggles my mind when I hear comments like that. There are TF's forming all day long, every day, on my server. It's not unusual to see two or more forming at the same time. I can start one up at almost any time of the day or night, and have a team formed within just a few minutes.

I can't speak for other servers, but I'm pretty damn confident that if Protector, a fairly low-population server, is that active, then the others are too. You just need to look in the right place...

What Panzer said. Standing in a zone saying "lft" in Broadcast is probably the least efficient way to team in this game. Join a good SG or use the server's global channel. It's the more efficient way.

Please don't make assumptions about me based on a single sentence. I don't just sit in a single area and spam broadcast, I've spent days doing team searches, PMing every person listed, asking politely if they'd like to join a Task Force team with no luck on making a full one. I don't join SGs at random just to make money, either.

What server are you on? I know on Virtue I'm practically tripping over TFs (did about four this weekend alone) and got from 22 to near 32 in the process. Thank you, Virtue LFG Alpha channel.

(And no, I'm not in a formal SG there, either, on the character in question.)
