That would be NCSoft who took over from Cryptic Studios.

Since then they've regrouped under the banner Paragon Studios, and the development team headed first by Positron, and now War Witch have made serious efforts to right injustices in the game and make it a wonderful experience.

Posi's not out of the picture, neither. In addition to Going Rogue, which GG mentioned, Positron is spearheading the effort for Issue 19, allegedly due this fall, which will introduce a robust new endgame system.

Oh, and welcome back!

Yes, no more Jack... (He hit the road, Jack?)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j91k62cyiIY

In other news, I17 hit, bring two new Story Arcs and a (much-needed) Positron TF update!
And Going Rogue, the new expansion will hit sometime this summer (Possibly as early as late July)

And a whole bunch of stuff happened over the last three years that I will not waste my breath explaining. You can experience it yourself!

Oh, I almost forgot Ultra Mode! I hope you have a good graphics card! If so, know that I am selling duct tape at $1 a roll so you can put your mind back together and it gets BLOWN!

to TO THE END!

lots of really neat stuff. Oroborus is cool, so much new things

but the thing that really made me post.... I had two incidents recently

1) NPC got stuck in a wall during a defeat all mission and I couldn't reach it
2) Task force got hung up on a mission and wouldn't advance when we completed the mission (it gave us the same mission over again)

I'm used to things in the past, I'd open a ticket, wait around for nothing, then go off and do something else. (restart the tf or mission) Then I'd get an email a couple days later saying something like "We looked for you but you weren't online so we're marking the ticket Resolved" :/

Anyway, these two things that happened, I opened a ticket and seriously, a GM popped up in under 5 minutes and set things moving again /cheer

Yeah welcome back and welcome to the new and improved post Cryptic/Post Jack COH/COV. Petitioning for anything used to be almost a joke.. IF you got lucky and had the time you might hear back from them and I can even recall one GM telling me I could always go back to my contact and simply drop the mission to auto complete. "I DON'T want to autocomplete I want the XP, INF, and prestige now find a way to let me continue." Grrrr

I have no stats but I think a LOT more GMs exist these days and they know what they are doing. Things happen.. Knockback sticks a minion in a wall (as you described), a glowie somehow winds up inside one etc. Now the Devs know how to handle those things and do get there as fast as possible. Hey I team with a friend from California and two nights ago at 3AM Eastern time (midnight where she lives) we had a hidden glowie preventing us from spawning Mako to complete a story and the arc. GM was there in about the same time you mentioned five minutes and clicked the invisible glowie for us. Even stuck around and watched us take down Mako and congratulated me when I made level 45 in the process LOL Things still go wrong but they make a conscious effort to control and fix them.

hehehe I actually amazed a GM a while back on a Radio mission in Talos. I was supposed to rescue a kidnap victim and when I entered the building a bug had replaced all the villains with kidnap victims. THEY were the villain group but none of them was a valid target. Okay I shrug and head upstairs I find the actual kidnap victim I am supposed to rescue being guarded by.. you guessed it KIDNAP victims. I couldn't attack a single one so no way to rescue the victim and get a mission complete. I could have stepped outside, reset, and hopefully gotten the right villains next time but I wanted someone to SEE this. The GM arrived and I explained what was happening. He entered the mission and was amazed to see what I had found. He autocompleted it for me and we both submitted a bug report about the incident. LOL

Enjoy all the new content and other new QoL changes that have taken place while you were gone and again WELCOME BACK :-D

The Kidnap Victims Union apparently got fed up with all of the inefficiency and took matters into their own hands.

It would have been great if several hundred victims had followed you out to the door, though.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

Hmmm never thought of that. Now correct me if I am wrong but Fushionette is the President of that union isn't she? LOL I mean basically the woman has two special super powers.. 1) I can get captured by anyone and at anytime 2) I know I'm a blaster but I secretly wish I was a tank .. here watch me rush this mob and die!

Oh I almost forgot the abilty to get lost, dazed and confused by horribly difficult things like the hand rail on stairs. "Where are you Taxibot Sara? Wait for me!" *rolls eyes and turns to go explain* .. "Walk around the nasty metal railing and try to keep up. I have Rikti to kill.. err defeat" lol

Re the TF if it happens again I believe that re-logging will solve it. It's a bug based on the mission thinking the leader has changed IIRC.
