Best Scrapper Primary for lolfightclub

I know that /regen is considered the best pvp secondary across the board for scrappers, but I was wondering what is the best primary for scrappers who do lolfightclub (against mostly other melee based opponents)?

I've typically heard that fire/ is best for burst damage but I've seen some claws/ scrappers do some amazing things with enough influence invested.

I like boxing, shadow punch, and smite for fightclub. True story.

Claws is beast, fast animations and a steady damage chain, Fire has the highest DPS, but Katana is OP you spam Divine Avalanche in an attack chain because it will give you amazing Melee defense and has great dps.

As for /regen being the best, I would put /fire in there for lulfiteklub as well, good resist and a heal every 12 or less seconds.

I run a spines/regen, rolled it pre-i2 and it's AWESOME for zone, but doesnt have the damage required for toe-toe fiteklubin.

In the end, the best choice is what you have fun using and best fits your playstyle.

The 3 I would pick from are Fire/ , Dark Melee/, and Martial Arts/. Fire/, IMO, has the highest dmg of all primaries for Scrappers, especially since GFS is absolutely lethal, and hits like a titan when it crits. The DoT of Fire dmg especially with the already high dmg numbers, is a great tool for killing WP tanks or brutes. Dark Melee/ also has some sick dmg (although long animations) with the Shadow Maul + flurry, combination, and a quick recharging heal, and a fear (a good tool if you know how to time it right). Martial Arts/ also has some very nasty damg and Eagle's claw + Flurry combo is also very nasty. Because most powerset combos you will encounter in FiteClub, outside of regen, rely on Aid Self, I would go with Fire first or Dark Melee second (MG is also DoT and you can spam that over and over to counter Aid self, but Shadow Maul+flurry is also DoT (sort of) and it could help to disrupt Aid Self.

Repeat Offenders forever !

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.

Just be a Regin with phase shift, you'll never be bet.

Depending on how much you want to spend, broadsword is a very nasty one to fight in fiteklub rules, since you can slot every attack with chance for -res proc which hits fairly regularly if its on every power.
Resists debuffs combined with broadswords heavy single target damage means it can knock hp down pretty heavily before others even get started.

Claws would be 2nd to me compared to this, because of the animation times it means you can get twice as many hits, therefore twice as many crits in and follow up means your always on +damage and +tohit.

The single heaviest hitter though on scrapper from what I have seen is broadsword/fire, build up + fiery embrace combined with the above -res IOs hurt like hell, but even so regen is still the better choice in a majority of cases since its more reliable.

Dark in fights with other regens has issues, its nice overall but its a little too defensive for my liking plus the animations are too long.

Fire is pretty good but for single target id still rate broadsword higher...

Until you fight something with a -res power that also has phase which is getting more common now with the amount of fiteklubbers attempting to get into zone pvp lately

envenomed dagger rules

Fiteclub is allowed to use temp powers now? If that is the case, I'll let you in on the biggest exploit ever in FC history. WASD. That is all.

most of them only have ninja run as a travel. and when they go to arena they ask for inspires off and temp powers on. good times.

If you are taking shadowmaul in dark you're doing it wrong.

Dark. Pick up boxing. Proc out the fast animations and spam them, and nothing else. You will never lose.

I had no idea what "Fiteklubbing" was until I was challeneged to a random duel one night in the D... I got yelled at because I actually, you know, moved around to maximize my survival and attacks.

Then I got lectured for about half an hour in tells about how my build sucked and how I should improve it... and how ungrateful I was for not taking said advice... even though I won the fight.
