GR Question: Will we have to...
Well...
I am too lazy and sleepy right now to do a search and give you Dev feedback...
But I think the only few things we can be certain is:
1) One can change loyalty how much they want, as long as the steps (no one knows what they will be) are taken.
2) A 50 can change too. You dont have to start a praetorian to do that.
3) A praetorian will choose their allegiance at about level 20. Then he will be a hero or a villain, and will be able, like the others, to change loyalty by following the misterious process...
I am certain that someone with more coffee on the bloodstream will point you to the devs posts...

Yes. I can get lost on a straight-line map.
Anyone can switch sides as long as they're level 20 or above.

To be fair, however, a search in the Going Rogue forums or Dev Digest would probably have netted you your answer. You can narrow the search by forum in the advanced search feature, and clicking on the "by post or by thread" box will help too, depending on how you like to see your search results.
This is not a snark, just a little fyi to help avoid future snarks.
Now, that coffee that KayJMM mentioned sounds pretty good.

Pay no mind A_Angel. I saw that you qualified your request with "if possible". Snarky morning people will snark.

I didn't say anything but my first impression was that the OP's post had a slightly demanding quality to it. My perception may be colored because in posts made by others that are similar to the OP's it turns out that had the questioner made the tiniest effort to do a search or look in paragonwiki they would have found their answer.
True, but the most likely people to ask questions in "Player Questions" are people new to the game, and probably not as comfortable with search features (and most certainly not aware of the Wiki). I know a lot of the same questions do get asked with regularity, but it is good to remember that they're often being asked to people that are still feeling their way around. Questions should be welcomed and answered as courteously as possible.
And the OP might have been tricked by others before, heh. Still, I know how it goes. A little part of me cries whenever someone asks why they can't find people in game, as it has been answered so much. I just asked Mod 8 to get a sticky up in the Victory section on the subject, so hopefully more people will not have to ask the question that has been answered so often. Teams are out there, here's how to look!

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Asking people to back up their words with proof is not wrong are asking them to do the work for "me". It's simply wanting facts, not theory.

A_Angel is not new. I will not treat him with kid gloves because of previous experience.

Ahhhh... so you see fit to take it upon yourself to "punish" folks who, in your opinion, should "know better", effectively becoming some sort of self-appointed forum police... yeah, good to know.
FWIW, even if I don't always agree with somebody's post, I do try to give them the benefit of doubt and save my snarkiness for those who really, truly deserve it. I think the level of snark that has permeated this thread has been... over-reactive, at best.

The issue isn't that you want links to back up claims- that's common practice on these forums too. The OP came off as a little demanding, and you are asking for information that has been widely known and easily available for quite some time now. You've been around long enough to know about things like ParagonWiki. That should always be your first stop when you have questions about the game. If the answer isn't there, we probably don't know it.

This hostility towards people asking questions is retarded.
No, not ticked. Just use to posting on sports forums where links are provided to backup claims so we know they are facts and not opinions. I really meant no offense by it.

People on the forums are generally pretty nice, and the only things you really need to cite are numbers in game for how powers work, etc. But it's still usually best if people link to the Wiki or wherever they got info from.
For what it's worth, I positive repped you, since people took what you said in a negative way, though it wasn't really intentional. It's weird, too, since people usually answer questions nicely. I guess you just pushed some buttons with your phrasing, heh.
For the Going Rogue stuff, we still know only so much since it's still in super secret closed beta and they are only telling us little bits and pieces to keep us slavering for more, heh. I am hoping for more as May goes on and we get closer to the July release date.

Will we have to start a toon from scratch in order to have him change sides? Or can a pre-existing level 50 make the switch?
Please provide Dev statements for proof if possible.
