Old players now playing on US servers?

^This actually. I make so many alts that losing access to older characters isn't that bad. And I did use the market trick to send a bankroll US side before my EU account expired. And the new Mail system let me divide that up into starting "help packages" for the 5 villains I've created in the last 4 months (help me! I can't stop rerolling!!).
I haven't quite taken the plunge yet, I'm on a US trial currently. The one thing that held me back from jumping ship was the loss of everything I'd amassed on Defiant & Union since EU launch: 9 50s, 3 bases built and a smattering of vet rewards amongst other things.
Then it clicked, once I hit 50 the alt was mothballed and I started again, the bases were nothing more than transport hubs and storage facilities (and a time sink in their design and construction). So really the only real thing I was losing was some inf & vet rewards.
Given the difference in populations I've seen based on when I play I'm more inclined currently to make my US trial a full account than I am of reactivating my EU account.
5 villains in 4 months is slow Carni, I ran 6 alts through tutorial and isolator on day 1 of my trial!

You're safe enough anyway, I can only do lvl14 on a trial account, and given how you can't even broadcast or send a /tell to anyone to get a group during a trial I'm amazed anyone would want to upgrade from a trial account who doesn't already know someone in game. |

Seriously though, having sent a couple of US trials to people and played with them, the trial restrictions are way over the top - unless they stand near other players spamming local, how are they supposed to get a team if they don't know anyone already?
Im still loving the fact that i can log on at 8am and find a population higher than our peak
I've found it really hard so far to keep my ego under control over there I have a HUGE ego and i admit it in that if somebody on the team is going "your a newb! you havent even got any veteran rewards! what do you know!", im always wanting to say something like "54 months veteran baby! suck it noob!" . . . . . .
But then think i'ld get kicked for that . . . . . . .

However if enough of the circles I hang around with decide it is time to move to NA servers, i would ofcourse go with them. That has to be a vast majority mind you. Friendships within Union are quite strong, strong enough to keep me there.

66 month vet here, started on Freedom, US side, never considered moving over (too few servers), and now that things EU-side seem a bit grim, I'm very happy I didn't.

Old player here, had my account inactive for a LONG time and reactivated for 2 weeks via gamecard today. Played an hour and got bored already due to the lack of people on both EU servers.
If it wasn't for the time, money and effort that I put in these characters I would have long left the EU servers in favour of the American ones already.
But since there still isnt a server merge or a transfer stateside (and I highly doubt that there will ever be one) I will just go back to being inactive.
