Army of Me badge.....whew

I think it took me 3 trips to the base to beat this with my SS/EA. I'm used to things not being able to hit me (my lowest non-psi/toxic defense is around 47%...), but 8 bosses with Rage just didn't care. Once, I didn't even get to melee range; a bunch of Hurled boulders hit me for 515 each, and it was back to the base!

I chewed a bunch of purples, and even so had trouble. I had my toggles dropped by ED at least twice (auto-hit is cool when I'm using it, less cool x8 against me!), but once I started picking them off, life got easier.

Definitely a fun fight!

One problem with the HVAS option. That is only possible if you are doing this arc via Flashback. The HVAS is earned with Vanguard Merits, and you can't start getting those until 35. By then, you have outleveled Leonard.

So if you are going through this for the first time normally, the HVAS will not be an option, unless you have a teammate exemped down who has the temp power.

How they managed to summon all those pets at a low-level makes me wonder, though.
Fight any customized level 1 boss in AE. You'll see them use many powers much higher level than they are, even tier-9s. Enemies aren't subject to level restrictions. They either have a power or they don't. It just scales to have the numbers for that level.

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

I haven't seen any commentary on stalkers attempting this mission. I will have to try it when I get out of work today. 8x AS!!!!

Just did it. I was on a claw/regen I pulled the foes and ran down the hallway expecting to be killed and then rez and head back to as some clones.
I didn't die. They didn't hide or placate or as at all just spammed their first 2 attacks. Ah well at least it another easy badge.

So far have done several different characters. Only once did I make it thru without having to run. (Sometimes killed by the second wave, sigh)

A bunch of purples are a very good idea. Heck, that's all I bring with me now. After the initial OMG, doom, it's generally easy to do a pull and take them in detail.

ran this earlier on my lvl 29 NW... all I have to say is "OUCH". I did manage to do it, but it took several trips to the hospital and bucket loads of yellow, red n purple insps. They had a knack of staying hidden all the way through the duration of my purples, so I had to buff up, stealth in, and crit attack 1 clone, and hope I could floor it before they all went stealth, smoke grenaded and mind linked - all at the same time.

I did it on my Nin/Nin. ...it wasn't pretty. AS isn't the problem: the amount of def debuff, to hit from build up, and cal trops was (not to mention their ability to heal back damage). Took me five runs back to do it. I dropped one and died. I came back, popped some inspirations to get to ~65% def to all, used Assassin's Strike, and was promptly hit by 3-4 shurikens and promptly killed. Build up is... not pretty against defense, even with a -to hit from Assassin's Strike.

I did better when I kept my eye out for build up animations. I still got slowed worse than fighting the KOA and def debuffed to death a few times. *sighs* It was much easier once more of them were dropped, of course.

Two deaths on my Thugs/Traps Mastermind. Loved how they dropped some cute powers I didn't have! Tough, but very fun.

Yeah, I loved being hit by 4 Shurikens in a row when I was at 65% defense to ranged... and my Stalker doesn't even HAVE ACCESS to that power. My VEAT was similarly jealous of the pets his clones summoned. Heh, still fun, though.

This was way fun and way frustrating on my fire/dark. I had been set at +1 prior to going to Ouro, and like a fool, I didn't change it before the mission. It took me four trips back and some inspirations to defeat... myself. x8. At one point, I had six Darkest Night's stacked on me, so I just ran out of the door. What on earth am I supposed to do with that? I had to resort to pulling a few at a time, and as long as I could get out my key powers (DN, FS, TP, etc.) before they did, I was fine.

I do have to say that this is the badge title that I carry to this day. Talk about a badge that you feel like you've EARNED. I didn't just run over a dot...
