Character transfer cost.

I *barely* missed the free character transfers and I have a character on Victory with the Celebrant badge that I'd like to move to Freedom... The problem is; I can't find the cost of a character transfer anywhere.

I see the instructions on how to do it, but I can't seem to find the actual price.

Anyone know?

Server transfers are $9.99 one way.

Aww... now I'm really bummed... I can't quite justify spending $9.99 to move a character because he has 1 single badge that none of my characters on Freedom have.

If it's any consolation, $10 is cheaper than many other games charge for server transfers.

I transferred 2 characters in WoW at $25 apiece (about a year apart, but still). My wallet cried those two days.

Last time I did it I just brought my lunch into work the next day. It worked out fine and was pretty tasty.

Badging in a PvP zone?

If you are treasure hunting on a battlefield wearing an enemy uniform, there is a high probability that you will be attacked.

This is an enjoy-the-ride game. "50" is only a number, not the goal of the game. - Noxilicious

Bring lunch to work would be more expensive for me :P

What's to say the OP doesn't bring his own lunch anyways?

Good idea on bringing lunch to work, however I do that already... and it really only saves me about $2 a day.

I'll probably do a transfer, but I doubt I'll do it within the next month or two... the toon I want to transfer is a lvl 34 version of the lvl 50 I have on Freedom, but he was one of the first characters I made (never got isolator because badges didn't exist yet when he was in the tutorial). I'm pretty sure I would even lose his name, and it's a really cool name.

Oh well, I guess I wait.

The OP could sell blood plasma. In the US there are centers all across the country and every plasma donation center has its own compensation plan. Generally you are paid $20 to $25 for the first weekly visit and $30 to $45 for the second. On top of this, many centers have additional cash prizes or gift certificate programs to keep things fun and interesting.

It's a bummer when you have tested positive for something and cannot give ever again even though you don't have it.

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

Don't knock $2 a day. That's around $500 in a typical year. When I realized how much I was blowing eating out for lunch everyday and started making my lunch I was able to quickly spend that money elsewhere.

Sorry about that. Creepy wasn't my intention. I was just offering an alternative that isn't difficult to do, and has the benefit of saving peoples lives.

A person could make $200. a month and in todays economy who couldn't use the extra cash.

Keep in mind, you can get the Isolator badge any time after reaching level 25 (to get into Ouroboros). You can flashback to the tutorial. (Talk to The Pilgrim.)

I know, Ouroboros wasn't an option the last time I played him (aside from last night).

Heh, and these are special needles, too. They're huge. I still have scar tissue in the crook of my elbows from my forays into Plasma Donating back in the '80s. Takes forever, too. 2-3 hours a visit. They take your blood, centrifuge it to separate the plasma from the cells, then they put your cells back in you.

Dec out.

Ah, memories. Back during my plasma selling days, you could do it twice a week, and they paid a flat $15 per visit. Most memorable moment was my first time at the Plasma Center in Oklahoma City...
