Yeah, it's City of Lag tonight for me. Twice already my client crashed as I approached the site of a GM or AV battle. I don't think I'll be getting a yellow title today .

Bad experiance here. Turned down everything and couldn't get one hero av badge in any red zone. My people/sg were very upset at the sheer lag we were all getting and only one person got two of the badges. There has to be a better way to do this.
I also ran into alor of folks who had no idea what was going on or the theme of the event. Small notice to Blane. Not your standard "lol wut gong on!?" but real people who generally know what's up had no clue and no one knew why or how recluse cloned himself or why he'd clone his lackys.

I had much the same experience. It wasn't an issue with my computer not being able to draw what was happening, it was more that the server was bogged down by all those people in the same place trying to fight several mobs all at once. I can agree with the need for special anniversary instanced missions, perhaps the devs could randomly pop into a mission instance and assist/challenge the players there.

I was lucky to get the yellow tag over Oryo Ryouko's head...and later over Mellissandria's head...
Oryo Ryouko was also swimming in the merits til Atlas Park fell down and went boom...was ten to twenty minutes before I could get her back online...which is how I wound up switching to Mellissandria eventually....It was fun, lag was odd to watch, though. Don't think I ever hit anything or anyone (but didn't stop me from trying...
).
Funniest bit of the night though was seeing a friend of mine (who can be something of a party animal) get the Party Animal tag...the yellow one! (grins). Took me about four five minutes to tell her she had it due to the lag...
(they really need to stretch it out, though. Maybe make it a week long event, or at least have a repeat of it..)
That was good, however, that they handed out the yellow tags afterwards in Atlas Park and Grandville....(but we still need a repeat. I do, anyway...*noms merits*

If you stayed out of the core zones the lag was not bad, and they had stuff going on in multiple places at once so that helped also by spreading the load among zones.
