Server with least populated RV?

I've been working on my 250 Heavy badge in RV off and on over the past week or so, getting ten or so Heavies per session, but of course the PvPers kill me (quite understandably, they're entitled to, not complaining about that) fairly often, and so my progress is not as fast as it could be.

I had an idea that perhaps there's a low-pop server with more of a guarantee of en empty RV.

If so, could I transfer my badge-hunter toon from Freedom over to that server to farm the heavy badge, and then transfer him back afterwards? I don't mind paying.

Is this a feasible plan, and can anyone suggest a low-PvP population server that would suit?

getting the heavy badge is actually faster if you can organize with someone to kill you after you get the heavy since you can just hosp and go back to the heavy point you were just at

if you need help with the badge, im usually available on victory server (which also has a fairly low pvp count since i know a portion of them went to freedom or virtue)

Try alternating which heavy you try got gain control of. There seems to be a bug of some sort which will let you get extra credit for control sometimes.

I would get control of the heavy closest to the base, and then throw myself on the nearest pillbox, letting it kill me (hey, debt is just another badge ). I'd then go to the next closest heavy and do the same. Then, when I went back to the first heavy, something odd happened. I would click on it, get credit for control but I wouldn't get control. I'd click again and the heavy would fade away, but I'd get credit again. Finally, it'd reappear, and this time I would really gain control. So I would get three control credits for it. I'd then throw myself at the nearest pillbox, die, and head for the second heavy. The three clicks sequence would repeat and I'd alternate between the two heavies. It only took me about an hour to get my last 150 clicks in this way.

But either way, letting yourself die is much, much faster than zoning in and out.

Triumph RV, guaranteed free heavies most of the time.

I farm there from time to time.

Triumph Lurker: mintmiki 50 emp/archer
basically, if you see a miki on Triumph, it's probably cute and it's probably me.

Huge thanks to cuppamanga and all the folks in the mac help forum for prolonging my borrowed time on this game.

1. Watch all the PvP weenies transfer to Triumph just to camp heavy points.
2. Go to now-empty Freedom PvP zones.
3. ... ?
4. Profit! (Or rule the world, depending upon your personal bent)

THIS is what I did, and it is really easy. Even if people are PvPing outside your base, you can just advertise yourself as a free kill, and when you run out from the hospital, they can't even touch you because of the PvP timer and you usually have plenty of time to gain control before it expires.

Simply let them kill you, and repeat. Even if you manage to get killed before you get control, just make sure you die next to the platform. If you open your Target window and click Actions, you can still Interact with it and gain control and credit for it that way.

Like StarGeek said, there is a server glitch that lets you gain credit more than once, so if you wanted to try to get extra credit, get the heavy and let somebody kill you on the platform, then wait a few moments for the station to "respawn", and click it again while dead a couple more times, then go to the hospital and repeat.

In short, I'm on Freedom too and find it really easy to get these badges. It's not something worth transferring for. Even getting the 100 pillboxes was not a really hard task even during peak PvP hours. People normally only bother you run into the open and/or make it public that you are just there for badges.

The other option is to do it on non-peak times. I've noticed PvP peeps stay up late so 6-8am est on a sat or sun morning most are stil sleeping try then.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

there more you die, the more heavies you get to control. i don't see the problem. just keep changing the one you go to. there is another exit point from the hero base that is by the portal that you come into RV in that puts you out in the zone else where.
