Hey Rhyn- there was a server that did a raid and killed Hami right from the get-go, ignoring all the blooms. It involved something like using the other nuke types (atleast the nuclear one, not sure about the 3rd one) and bombarding hami w/ them. I think there was a timing involved that was pretty critical, I think 2 waves of nukes, so some people had to save their nukes (or maybe use the bionukes on the first wave of nukes, then a different type of nuke at the 2nd call, or something like that). I think there was even a particular moment when all pets, even temp ones, were brought out. There should be a video of it somewhere on YouTube (I can't access it right now from work), but we should check it out. Even though we're only doing Cell Death after the 2nd bloom, it could give us some good tips to survive 2 blooms while we rush to take hami down.
btw- the mass death right after hami down was awesome! Talk about going toe to toe w/ the big guy until you both drop!

Hey Batz... yeah, I saw that video already.
My plan was to call for our standard 2 nukes at round 1, and before we go in on round 2.
Then just before the first bloom, main mass teams drop their bionukes - and all AoE buffs.
Just before bloom 2, melee teams drop their nukes (and any recharged AoE buffs - we *should* still be well within the 2/4 minutes of most AoE buffs. Heck, we should be within the 30 seconds of some of those buffs!).
Taunting of blooms by the yellow tanks will keep some of the damage and, more importantly, the KB! off of main mass squishies, allowing concentrated, speedy damage.
Ultimate goal? One pair of nukes for first round of clearing, then just stand and kill to the end - nice and fast. Having watched the video of those guys going in on that kill (7 minutes I believe was their time) I think having tanks hold aggro away from the main mass would help it go easier. Also, *clearing* the first round of Mitos might help (i would accept a 10 minute clean kill :-)
I just hate having to get bionukes - having to get chem and rad nukes as well would turn me right off to this. Truth be told, I think that with a reasonable Hive full of people (including rads, darks and TAs for -regen and rads, emps and kins for buffs) we shouldn't even need the nukes... but you gotta start 'small' :-)

I'll try to get a full set of the 3 nukes on each of my standard Hami toons for this just in case. (a pain, yes I know!)

Traveling that weekend but I'm going to try my best to make it back home in time for the raid as these have become really fun.

Hey we can't call Triumph our home if we can't be a little nutty.
Honestly this sounds like fun and I will see what I have at those levels. I think I will either bring my main scrapper katana/regen or my secondary who is a defender dark/empathy.....I have gotten really good at keeping my teams alive. I will see where they both are at and what we need day of.
I would like to give this a shot as well, let me know what you need.

I can supply a /rad to the effort, provided I don't forget what day it is. It looks like he even has a bio nuke on hand from when I was doing the Warburg time badge that I forgot all about.

Hami has restraining order against me, so I have to tank from outside the jello.

Emerald Fusion asked if we could do cell death after round 2... and I think we could! It does mean *double* mito bloom, but if we have a full 6 yellow taunt tanks AND a full 45-50 person raid (with more with more than 6 blasters :-) we should be able to ride out the blooms and squash Hami...
So in 2 weekends from now April 25th (Sunday) at 7 EST I'd like to try this.
Pimp this out to friends, SGs, coalitions etc. Make sure to get bionukes! We need people in numbers! We need scrappers and blasters, as well as our hold teams and our emps, kins, rads, darks, etc!
I also would like a tank sign-up... I need a Hami Tank (we will ask Azile again) and 5 tanks other than me (preferably people who have tanked the yellows before... Amber, 3Mile, Emerald Fusion, Cath - I am looking at you guys...)
We will do EoE farms on Fridays (Yeesha - would you lead some of these?) so keep your eyes out!
PS Hopefully Sun Splitter will lead our 'griefing' team again... some of the best broadcast nonsense we've seen in a while, with Ultrabatz and 3Mile as fully participating members ;-)
