Incidentally, they are used on both genders, Leo G just can't put images of them on women because of the forum rules against bare breasts. And yes, nipple clamps are fairly low on the totem for people with that particular kink. However, I suspect that they are made, if not gentler, than at least safer than attaching jumper cables to your tits.

Yeah I imagine you would know that, but at least it's less painful (and less enjoyable?) than when folks pierce their nipples, attach a special piercing with a chain and then pull on the chain; at least the clamps come off if you pull on them.
