Flight pool tier 9: Levitation (float on a chunk of ground. Fulfills all those 'need to be on the ground except for summoned intities' ^^)

I'd take it on my Earth/Psy dom just because it involves loating rocks.
Yeah, you're drunk Leo.
Flight pool has 4 tiers, not 9

Lol well you'd have to add the other tier obviously!

Tier 7 could be a shockwave AoE attack toggle that blasts everything around you when you land or take off

I'm pretty sure that Singularity needs to be summoned on a bit of ground, as does Traps FFG. Which is bizarre as both float around happily.

Phantom Army can and should always be summoned in the air so that they end up on each others shoulders like some circus act.

Does jump kick still require contact with the ground? I always thought it was funny you couldn't jump kick while jumping.

I don't find it all that odd considering the nature of the animation. Not that all jump kicks look the same, but the one we have in the game pretty much needs to be done on the ground.

Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.

The other 3 tiers of the flight pool should have attacks you can only use while flying >_>

Hmmmm, it seems like of the "summon" type powers, only those that are "dropped" (that is those that you don't physically place with a targetting reticle) require you to be on the ground in order to use them. I proposed in Vanden's icon fix thread that they get a different icon border (which was implemented in Corva's icon pack [linked in my sig]).

I guess this is just a bit more reason to distinguish those two varieties of pet summoning abilities.

No, see, it's better if you don't have any quantitative knowledge because then you can enjoy the game more while you're getting curb-stomped by 4 minions!

Would I be considered a heretic if I said that I liked it better before the ability to get exact values of one's powers was possible?

Singularity can be cast in the air. I have no experience with Traps to say about FFG though.

Also, Spectral Terror can be cast in the air. A few times I've accidentally dropped it into the void in the Shard.
