This is an awesome thread.
Altoholic Monkey, I love the work you have done.
I would love to see a recreationg of Belladona Vetrano (GR Praetorian Ghost Widow) and Mother Mayhem (GR new look). I tried but cant get it at all.

I once made a union jack type head covering, not a helmet tho. I'll see if i can find it and post it...

k, found it, thought i'd add it to the rest of the costume. Hope i'm not stepping on toes or anything, just thought it might be a head design you may have overlooked or something

No love for the Romans? I have a Broadsword/Shield Defense Scrapper for which I made a Praefectus Castrorum costume that's almost 100% spot-on. It confuses people on ITFs all the time.

Thanks. Whenever I run an ITF, I usually switch to that costume. It usually brings a laugh or two to the team, especially when someone targets me.

Here's what I have for my 5th Column, Council, and Gunslinger then.

I like it! I may have to borrow that. I don't normally use the hats so I totally forgot that that ninja hood even existed.

Interesting, I did recreations for 2 of those groups, for my RO mates.

I created the Male, Female, Huge version for the Malta Minons, LTs and Bosses. For the sake of space, I'll only list one image for the body and rank types. For Council I only created the Male body type but I really like how my Ascendants turned out.

At some point with the new GR additions, I might get around to revising a few looks.

Malta

Tactical Operative (Minion)

Operation Officer (Lieutenant)

Gunslinger (Boss)

Council

Cor Leonis (M)

Elite (L)

Archon (B)

Ascendant (Special)

Goldbrickers

Rocketman

Bombardier

Boomer

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

That was pretty obviously in the demo editor.

Not exactly correct.

Metallic has plate seams drawn on it and Boomers don't have any those seams. Metallic's seams just under the ribcage and at the top of the pectorals aren't on the Boomers. Because they're cheaters, they get to wear a modified version metallic cloth/leather/metal.

So I tested with Metallic and those seams did not, IMO, make it a good substitute. Using the metallic face made costume look more robotic than some guy decked out in the Goldbricker's uniform. So, I used the shiny tight option to simulate the gold covering and to make sure the abs were defined.

I won't tell you how easy I thought they were to make until I actually looked at one up close in the AE for a few hours. Goldbrickers have some awesome accessories.

Hero 1:

A random Skull:

And a random Hellion:

I'm aware the color and body shape are slightly off on BAB and color is a little off on Blue Steel... plan on fixing that soon. Hero 1 is as close as possible, I found out the hard way his suit's blue isn't available in the costume editor's color palette.
That is a friggen AWESOME Ms. Liberty recreation.

I'm working on a recreation of her myself for an AE arc. But I just can't get the face right, lol.

Sorry to necro this thread it just is exactly what I'm looking for. If you're still around would love to have a copy of that costume file for my arc (and will give you credit for it). PM me on here and I'll send you my email.

Otherwise anyone have the face number? I've gone through them all over and over and missing it somehow.

Here's what I'm trying to do. Recreate Ms. Liberty out of costume for my story arc. Here's about as close as I've come. The pics look a bit dark- sorry! Think I have the face number right- Face 13?

Anyone know the colors that the Resistance use on thier armor? Both the brown and blue versions by chance?

The brown and blue are colors you don't get to chose in the Standard Palette.

You can get pretty close approximations though, using the numbers on the Standard costume palette.

http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Costume_Colors

The rusty looking armor (Brown) can be approximated using C2 (3rd row, 2nd color going left to right)

I'll have to double check the blues again.

I used to have his colors (and facial hair) match Snaptooth better, but I changed them to keep him looking more like his main costume (he's a leprechaun)... and to avoid all the angst from teammates who thought I was a foe.

Holy balls!

Meanwhile, here's my own Carnie demon tamer and Council warshade:

Nowhere near enough vet months to use the Council emblem, unfortunately.

Ilya is my oldest non-50 (Illusion/FF troller) with all the anniversary badges and currently sitting at 44.

Still like to give the not so vet "VOID!" screamers a scare occasionally!

Those are *really* good, LaughingMan. I particularly like the Phantom Army recreation, the KoA and the Crey Agent are really nice too.
Well done.
