Well Mental I don't know about you but I do know that you don't know, that wou would like to know that an Elec/Storm is a MUST! be it FoTM or not. :P Also Elec/Rad would mesh well. Elec/Kin, Elec/Cold....
I personally only like to use each primary and secondary once. The only secondaries I have yet to use are Force Fields and Empathy.

I can see myself rolling a Elec/Storm and a Elec/Rad. As far as Redside is concerned I would just HAVE to roll Elec/Elec as well as Elec/Fire or Elec/Thorn.
I guess I always had a soft spot for electricity/water/wind powers.
Elec/Elec Dominator is a must for me because it will finish off the set. Out of Force Field and Empathy I'm more likely to give the former a try but I still dislike both sets.
Evil! Mainly posting here so my forum signature can be seen!
Aaaand... Wooooo!!!
Empathy and Force Fields are so out of my mind I don't even have any Mids plans up for them. Perhaps Demon Summoning/Force Field so I can make my own... Evil Petting Zoo!
I made level 1 toons to camp Elec/elec names prior to Castle's post saying no real plans for Electrical Control - I'll need to hurry and resave them lol.
How's Mary Mayhem sound for an Electrical Dominator?
Thank you, City of Heroes, for giving me a superhero social network combined with amazingly smooth game play. Petitions signed with realistic expectations.
Sunstorm worked on Electric Control as a training exercise when he first started working for us. The set is currently sitting in the spreadsheet I have set aside for such things. It was a good effort, but by no means ready for release, and there hasn't been any announcement of us working on the set at all.
I'm not ruling out Electrical Control as a set, but it is only one of several sets that are in the wings waiting for the thumbs up to proceed with. |
Arc #41077 - The Men of State
Arc #48845 - Operation: Dirty Snowball
Wait...I bet Assassin's Strike for Kinetic Melee looks AWESOME. :3
Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars
Thanks Bass!

That has never really bothered me to be honest, I have many of my 50s that have some overlap. I do like playing rare or odd combinations so I'll have to give the electric some thought. Oh the decisions........I like having these kind of problems

I'm glad they are doing electric control, but personally I don't really see the appeal of it-- unless it will bring something unique to the table.
What I'd really get excited about would be magnetic control, but I understand it would take more resources to create. It would be worth it though. I could imagine it being sort of a mix between gravity (ranged immob and hold) and illusion (a PA like power with metal golems). PA is a nice unique skill for Illusion, but I think it would be good to have a similar skill in another set. Maybe the metal golems wouldn't be invulnerable and unaffected by debuffs. They'd still be fairly tough, but that would still keep a unique aspect to PA.

Or it was just an attempt at throwing us off the scent so they could announce it when Marketing allowed them to.
I'm going to get my name saved and all the stuff I need for my Electric controller/dom before everything jumps higher than a mexican jumping bean!
