Which of your characters would you make a movie out of?

and what would the story be?
who would play your character?
who would direct?

I'd make a film of my main, Sundiver, telling his origin story, his arrival onto the heroic scene, as well as the first confrontation with a time traveling warlord. Sundiver would draw the majority of the villain's fire while the military strikes at weak points, but it ultimately falls to Sundiver to defeat the opposing army of robots.

actor: I really don't know enough actors to havean idea for who could do this. I'd hope someone somewhat like superman, but with a less statesmanlike demeanor. faces don't really matter.

Quick reply before i run off to work:

I'ld use my character SonOf-damz [obviously be better named in the film ] who is on a quest to find his long lost father who has just vanished after doing a routine [for him anyway] mission in the shadow shards.
Film would have to be a trilogy of sorts just like my character ingame.

1st film = his early years. The trying to find clues to the location of his father and getting defeated with ease by villains [no superpowers]. Gets trained and brought up by a martial arts expert. Defends his "home" against a group of supervillains at the end and end scene is him walking off to find his father with his new found powers [ma/sr scrapper].

2nd film = him going through all the clues to his location and heading to the shadow shard. Lots of ambushes by unfaced ninjas who look to be genetically modified. Finally finds location of father by a note written to him signed by his father two years before he dissapeared.

More to come because i really gotta goooooooooo

That's kind of an obvious answer for most of us, really, seen as how many people here go by the name of their "main" character. Obviously, if I were making a movie, it'd be about Samuel Tow and his development in his own timeline in the future. It's too long and complicated to explain and I know no-one really cares, so suffice it to say that his story is about a world a few decades in the future where the world is on fire with small-scale wars between various terrorists, mercenaries, dictators and basically everyone who ever wanted to have big guns but never could. It starts with a time-skip of a couple more decades that has seen mutually-assured destruction lay waste to most of the world, setting the scene for various post-apocalyptic scenarios to take place as Sam discover what the "super soldier" programme he was in actually did to him and comes to grips with his increasing powers while simultaneously battling the foreign mind encroaching over his own that comes with them.

I've had over ten years to map out the storyline for this one, so either I'll need a trilogy at least, or I'll need a larger series, as I have about 200 years' worth of events to cover, all of which are important to shaping the character. Of course, this is not going to happen, but sooner or later I'll have to sit down and actually write the thing. Probably have to use a rather abridged narrative, since I don't feel like writing 1000 pages worth of novel. Don't feel like and physically can't.

Actually Caemgen wouldn't be my first choice to make a movie out of... He's got to much of a broody/angst thing going on and those kind of movies have been done to death Besides, I still haven't really fleshed out his full story yet...

I'd make a movie of my character Fenian...

The basic story would tell the tale of how/why she decided to actually start using her powers. The powers caused her to run away from home at an early age and she faced many/all the troubles a 15 year old would face trying to make it on their own. However, she manages to build up a strange little family around herself including her lover, the director of the naughty films she acts in and various other members o that "community." It's not the perfect life but she's found some happiness... At least until the Family tries to muscle in on her town, threatening her little bit of happiness. She comes to decide the only way to get rid of the Family (and protect her family) is to kick them the heck out of dodge.

The film would probably end on a mixed note... She's successful (if bruised) in her struggle against the Family and has shown them her town wouldn't be profitable for them after all, but she's also made an enemy out of them and the Family doesn't forget grudges - profits or not! So while she basks in the glow of having saved her little family she also knows that if she stays with them she'll just be bringing trouble back onto their heads...

I view Fenian as a lower powered hero... So even with her powers taking on the Family would be a real, gritty kind of battle. She's not there to save the world from cosmic powered would be gods but she can damn well take care of her own streets!

A movie about my defender, an ordinary cricket who found a radioactive powersuit that mutated him into a superhero, would be animated and done by Pixar.

Love Hysteria versus Behemoths...

Picture Godzilla versus a cutie little lady about 4 feet tall.
Actually, I would want the whole movie to be just like a "real" Godzilla movie.

That would be epic.

Definitely Jake 'Iron' Anderson. The film would be a moving melodrama about an ex-supervillain trying to go straight after decades of crime, and the trials and prejudices he faces from society. Without hitting anything.

Ah, who am I kidding? It would be Kiken. And the film would be a non-stop martial arts extravaganza. With killer Nazi robots. And lots of action. And bizarre mutants. And lots of action. Oh, and evil corporations. And lots of action. And spooky magic. And did I mention lots of action?

However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator

Would it star David Hasslehoff in an eyepatch...if so I'd totally be watching it...

As for my character, well my namesake is out because he's a villain so I'd probably have to go with Amy Zon, my 8ft tall super strong/invulnerable catgirl. Would be an animated film and would be about herself and a team of heroes being recruited to fight time travelling Nazi's back in Roman times (because the ITF would make for an epic film...it's got Superheroes, time travelling, Sword and Sorcery AND Nazi's...).

Character: My rad corr would be played by Jamie Pressly (Joe Dirt, My Name is Earl). Her mekman's CGI face would be be modeled by Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings).

Co-Directors: Michael Bay (because he's worked with robots before and that mekman is a real p.i.t.a.) & Kevin Smith ( whoo! )

Story: Aftermath of The Coming Storm or a Macy's sale. I want to see how folks react when civilization breaks down. Though my corr would not be a main character, just a bumbling villain-sort to fill in time between action scenes.

Character: Heroside, either my dark/psi def Andrea Blake, or my grav/kin troller Sorina Tavarisch. Since I'm a big anime fan, this would have to be anime (I could go with GONZO doing the animation - "Kiddy Grade," "Basilisk," "Samurai 7," and "Trinity Blood" looked sweet). Villainside? The MistWalker sisters, hands down.

Directors: Someone who can do dark emotion AND action. Not just "we're blowing up stuff." No, no, no. If John McTiernan could manage that same humorous-dark-action touch he had with the original DIE HARD film, I could go for that.

Music: E.S. Posthumus (and I liked them BEFORE they became well-known, thank you). With Poets of the Fall doing the theme song, and Within Temptation doing the end credits song.

Story: With Andrea, it'd be her origin story (the orphan who becomes a reluctant hero only after dying and returning to life)... with Sora, it'd be the Rikti War and her role in it. (Though doing THE COURSE OF SUPERHERO ROMANCE as a film is tempting.) The MistWalkers, it'd be their origin story (as pawns of Arachnos from Project: ERINYES, only to escape and wreak havoc in the Rogue Isles as they seek to bring down Arachnos for revenge).

Hmm...who to do mine on...?
Actaully, I'd probably go for one of my 'minor' (low level atm) characters; Akiko Kiyzama

Having a growing super-Heroine, rather than one of my more establishe characters, would be interesting.
Either that, or doing past stories about Chief Centurion Z1, Z22 Pyre Fox, X21 Ice Wolf, Kitsune Vixen and SABRE as a whole. That'd be cool.

Movie? None of them. But cartoon series? Zenith Fighter X, my anime space lizard princess, all the way. Thinking about how cheesey that would be makes me smile. I could probably voice her if I wanted to.

Actually, I'd like to see one made about Happ Hazard, who is really a set of Twins who both take up a nearly identical mask/fighting style and go into the world to attack crime from two different directions.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

One of my mains, Sakura Tenshi is based off a magical girl, so probably at least a single anime season than one movie.
It would detail her early life in Japan before arriving in Paragon and effectively deconstruct a majority of the magical girl genre (I actually had this in mind well before I ever heard of Sailor Nothing) and anime genres and so forth in general. (I.E. its a bad a idea to have mecha pilots in fighting alongside standard ground troops... Or have said heroes be as young as six years old and facing the end of the world on a regular basis.

The only character I can think of would be Serenity Dark. Of course, her twin sister Dark Anarchy would have to be in it as well. Since they're each others Arch-Nemeses.

Kaylee Dark (Serenity Dark) and Kaylin Dark (Dark Anarchy) both came from a notorious family of dark magic users. Kaylee had a difference of opinion with the rest of her family about morals, ethics and the use to which their powers should be put. Kaylin wants to "redeem" the family name.

I would say that the movie would be about Kaylee's origin story.

I don't really have a preference for any particular actress or director.

Peter Pounder. He's a porn star turned hero as a pr stunt to increase positive views on the porn industry. He would be played by a combination of Peter North, Ron Jeremy and Jake Steel. It would tell his orgin of how during the 1st Rikti invasion, he came to be.

two come to mind:
Ray Gunn (see my current avatar) - Ray is the enthusiastic type hero, like Hiro on Heroes. (how many times can I squeeze "hero" into...ahem, but I digress) Some may also see him a tad like Booster Gold (whom I've only seen in the JLU tv show), but I tend to see BG as self-serving, whereas Ray is trying to point out his viewpoint that "old" heroes (golden age) are every bit as good as the current ones. In story, the character of Ray Gunn started as a sci fi movie hero, like Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers, but was nearly lost in obscurity. Forward to the present, where a fan of old sci fi bought the rights to the character and acquired a powered tech "undersuit" (my way of getting powered armor but still having a costume). Merging the two he dons the costume, reboots the franchise, and starts seeking to get Ray noticed by actually being a hero. In a movie version, I'd eventually have his happy-go-lucky version of life run up hard against the dark gritty realities of Paragon City, and he'd gain some wisdom and backbone, becoming a better, more balanced Ray Gunn than the movies portrayed.

The other would be Ace Barnstormer, with secondary players by all my Flying Circus SG characters I created. Ace and the others closed down a successful globehopping aircraft stunt show because of an appeal to Ace (a Paragon City native) from a retired hero he befriended. Said retiree becomes their mentor, arranges tech powered undersuits (my signature I guess), and begins to train them to become the new generation of heroes after Rikti War I. Their metal is tested when they develop a bitter feud with the Sky Raiders, whom they see as their polar opposites. A crisis is reached when 2 of the SG are kidnapped by the Raiders, and the FCSG begins to fracture as each has his own ideas about how to find and rescue their friends, if they are even still alive.
