BMT wouldn't get less Redside action if more Redside folks were actually IN the channel. I have Redside characters, as do many people in BMT I imagine and I'm sure we'd love to see more Redside opportunities without having to keep an eye on multiple channels. A majority of people like to stay active when they aren't running on a team, be it badging, or just soloing. And take it from me, it's hard to keep track of a Frong-Ton of text when your in the zone or up to your neck in scrapperlock. I'm not sure how some people can just stand around in a zone looking at channels waiting for something to happen. I stand around in Atlas for 5 minutes and I start to get itchy, 10 minutes and I start trying to stare down my attack powers, 15 minutes and I'm... wait who am I kidding if I said I stayed there for that long. |

Give them the global of any of the other Ops (@Myrmydon, @Cobalt Azurean, @Starfire, @Cutlass, @Miz Nibbles and some others who currently escape me). They send an offline tell asking to get in, Op sends offline invite to the channel which they'll receive when they log in. Profit.

Thanks for the info Silas, I gave them the names of Cobalt and Miz, could not remember all the other names at the time. Also I knew they could send offline message to ask for invite but did not know the operators invites could be sent while the requester was offline.

Yeah, its a relatively little-known fact. Hell, I've never received an offline invite to a channel myself, I just know because I've been told by reliable sources.

Also if someone has you on ignore it's a simple step to find someone and say "hey, ask this person ____". Habachi does it all the time apparently.

I am not sure, but the only thing I can think of that would cause you personally to put me on ignore was an incident that happened during a Hami raid. I had done it many times with my blaster and controllers but brought my new lvl 50 tank this particular time and had never done it with a tank. Since I was unsure of what my role was supposed to be. I did what the team leader told me to do.
My team leader told me all tanks on hami, which was wrong I am told, you and several others sent me tells and "yelled or called me out" in broadcast, that i was doing it all wrong and was f'n up the raid. When ppl started bringing up in broadcast what my team was doing wrong the team leader quit team and logged after a big LMAO GOTCHA! in chat, leaving me and the rest of the team like WTH do we do now? And most of them quit and left zone or like me just stayed back and waited for it to finish since it was almost over with (last wave).
You were on Joel's Emp or something like that I think and your tell was like the last one i got, frustrated and ticked that i was given wrong information and ppl were now pissed at me over it, i replied in anger to the tells "kiss my *** i was only doing what i was told." I talked to AngieB and Amy after the raid and apparently the team leader i had was hidden and was trying to "grief" the raid. I didn't know and so i and my other team members got caught int he middle of that.
I was on Ima Tank, I was really pissed and frustrated and at the time did not even know why so many ppl were yelling at me. So I did let my anger get the best of me that day and told several ppl where to put their angry tells and "noob" comments. If you took it personally, I appologize. On a side note, I have not had the balls to take my tank back into Eden since, even though she held up pretty well lol. I was humiliated having made such a big mess of my attempt to help.

ummm.....how about we wish these guys luck with their endevour regardless of if we want to join their channel or not ? Want to participate, then join, dont want to participate/have too many global channels already-dont join. It really is simple. If the channel members enjoy using it and feel it helps them find team-ups redside, then its worth it to them...now if we can only teach Elf to speak/type in English...naw, never happen.
