Hey I remember these heroes. I was a fan of HD back when NCSoft had that big costume contest that bombed... I was one of the people who helped to turn the thread around into something positive after it went all south in a hurry lol. Your post count doesn't seem to have changed much since then haha... have you been away or just on perma-lurk mode since then? P.S. Hey HD has a different face now (and different cape etc as well)... or am I imagining that? |
and yes, I changed her face and cape, also added more color to her (as in black and gold). she's on Virtue now if you ever want to drop me a line. I also have a widow version of her too

There's always a first for everything. After all there's a donut shop locally that makes bacon maple bars.

I know I mentioned it in the other thread but, I'm glad you decided to show the progression you have made on Fen, CR. I so look forward to seeing her completed.

The main thing is that Arc's actually lost the helmet and I haven't capped that yet. And Meta is using Bio-Organic for his chest, arms, and legs rather than Stone.
Probably other little things, too, but I can't remeber ATM. I'm just about to go to work this morning.

#31 of 40 is just a quick 10 min sketch that came out pretty good so I decided to color it.
Ahem... it's a dragon.
#32 of 40 is Arc Tracer who belongs to Quarrios Soul.
Somewhere along the way I decided I would draw something for anyone that posts on a hundred in my New Artz thread. Mostly so far it's been me though hahaha.
However Caemgen was #200 and so I'm doing his Fenian and Quarrios was #400 and so here ya go QS, enjoy.
#33 of 40 is a redesigned Pachamama. This is something of a first for me as I combined a drawing (head and hair) portion with a part created entirely in photoshop (torso)... the two parts aren't fitting together perfectly at the moment but I think the technique has merit I just need to practice it more. It was worth the time spent I think. Enjoy the version 2 Jophiel.

Also, in PM you told me to let you know if I had any suggestions and that you're kinda new to the Anime-ish style. I don't really consider myself an expert on anything at all, but I redrew the faces a little to give you an idea of how I'd have done it.
The eyes will be a bit lower and generally aren't as slanted. I also rounded out Shazel's face since girls aren't usually quite so chisled
Again, just my take.
And you fixed the pucker lips I accidentally gave Garuk too.
I should probably sign it first and PM you the full size scan,
but by all means go ahead and post it in your gallery as fan art, I'd be honored.
I also mentioned if you feel up for collaborating you can go ahead and apply your
coloring style to is as well. I'd love to see how it would look finished.
P.S. Yeah, uh hunh... you've drawn your own avatar, you've written, drawn and colored a 25 page web comic...

Well not real in the sense that I have no idea what I'm doing. I have a general sense of what it should look like and granted I get better over time (look back at comics 1-3 sheesh), but my approach is like brute force. I have no classes, no books, I'm just hoping to learn little by little by doing it. My only training is the comic itself
I'll think about coloring the artwork, I'm interested in seeing it too, though who can say how soon I'll get to that. If there's anything amazing about me, it's only that I've managed as much as I have with as little time as I have (wife/4kids/job/sidejob/webdesign/actual PLAYING the game now and then).
