The new CoP could be really interesting.
I think it is great to have some different forms of fun to be had... and a potential (up to) 24 person team trial could be a lot of fun and a change of pace.
It could very well work out to be sort of like the Rikti Mother Ship Raids and the Hamidon Raid and such... and (While some may not like that) I think that is a cool thing.
Always add different options and outlets for differing brands of fun.
The Tip Missions sound like a nice addition. I don't even care that they can lead to morality missions (I mean, that is great too, but even without, it's nice to see). I also took the "perhaps... possibly" to mean exactly what it means, so no re-wording needed as far as I am concerned.

Some (If not all) we've seen in pictures already... but it is still nice to see more.
Pic 5 has some variety lined up for us to see.
Looks like some rather sleek options. I like those boots on the lady in blue, second from the left.
But yeah... want to see more! And definitely want to see the emotes!

also the other costume poeces thrown about that picture look pretty nifty as well

Heh. I'll be honest, I'm randomly refreshing. (I sound like a strange soda commercial or something there.) I'm at work, and checking in on them when it's slow. The list was more a general observation.
My only gripe when it comes to the packs - or much else - is that we still can't gift them, just apply to our own accounts. If they followed Chaos's idea above and I got one, I'd end up giving it to a friend of mine who's a bit busy with a one-year(and change)-old, but would still love it. -

How giveaways/contests are a no-win for NC/PS:
1. Give away at Herocon. "I can't go there!"
2. Give away codes. "I can't type fast."
3. Costume contest. "I suck at making costumes."
4. Graffiti contest. "Only for the art folks."
5. Movie contest. "Only for those with video skill."
6. "Just give it to random forumites" - "They're playing favourites.
7. Screenshot contest. "My video isn't good enough, of course I'd lose!"
8. Do nothing. "NC does nothing to promote the game!"
Add "it's not fair" to any of those.
Alternately... relax, enjoy, good luck, congrats if you get it, oh well if you don't. I know which approach I'm taking.
but I can say I will get the pack regardless even if it means I must shell out a few dollars for it

Hey I remember these heroes. I was a fan of HD back when NCSoft had that big costume contest that bombed... I was one of the people who helped to turn the thread around into something positive after it went all south in a hurry lol.
Your post count doesn't seem to have changed much since then haha... have you been away or just on perma-lurk mode since then?
P.S. Hey HD has a different face now (and different cape etc as well)... or am I imagining that?
and yes, I changed her face and cape, also added more color to her (as in black and gold). she's on Virtue now if you ever want to drop me a line. I also have a widow version of her too

I am not sure how many of you actually know me. probably not many, but I feel a need to announce that at least for a while I am taking a break from CoH. I feel I'd rather take a break from it now so I don't start disliking it like some people. I am also giving Champions a shot so that would also account for my lack of being around

I love your style and want to make a minor point about about the comment on DA you mentioned earlier. all our styles change, take this picture of mine for example. its already outdated for my style, but it shows how things change. Don't get depressed about someone's comments as you are not there to please them. and we all will lose fans, but we also gain them. it comes with the territory.
hope that helped to boost your morale. point is, we like to support artists here. for the fact that we are decent people (I think........) and the fact we will do about anything to get new art to look at

either my Hochroter Drache. her bio is here(it's the journal entry there) and she is noble and can seem like a stick in the mud, but tends to be friendly and gets into situations where she could seem like a fool. (reference is in my sig)
or my Ace of Crimson Clubs. a screenshot of her bio is HERE and her personality is a mix of quiet and brooding, and theatrical and sometimes flamboyant. (her reference is also in my sig)

well, when you think about it, ANY game can teach you something. this is why when I have a kid, I intend to have them play games like the Legend of Zelda series, Ico, and other games that can get them to think. I ADORE puzzle-solving games and strategy games. give me a full battalion or regiment (whatever the 40 or so you can have in one go is) of 2/3's Elite Longbowmen and a 1/3 mounted archers in Age of Empires 2 and I could be damn near unstoppable. the point is, learning will always happen, and an enjoyable activity that teaches you something is alright by me.
