Free? costing nothing?? free?? in this day and age.......
jee whiz after leveling lamo toon on freedom now i get free transfers, really can't decide if i wanna transfer my mind/elec and sonic/em, i mean how many straight damage toons is already on this server...

Hah! So glad I didn't blow those 50 or 60 bucks to transfer everyone over there! I'll definitely be porting some more characters over there very soon.

Meh this is their solution to server merges, cross-server PvP, and a dedicated PvP server. Cheap for them, no real extra work, and for the most part the customers are happy. Only potential downside is that PvP on the smaller servers will become even more dead as those people leave for Freedom, and EU players still have no way to access the US servers without paying for a separate account.
On the plus side, I've already moved a few characters over that I'd been meaning to get to, and I'm looking forward to the influx of people in Freedom SC, RV, and arena.

I've moved mine over to Freedom as well, and one of my farm toons to support the habit.

Good fun last night on freedom. The farm targets were aplenty and broadcast pvp was fierce. I saw numerous blasters with no super speed, a db/wp scrapper and a whole new wave of bad shark/ stalkers. Good times ahead.
It was pretty wicked, I had to transfer back, I forgot I had a few empty slots and had to reslot them lol

Nice, I can transfer pve characters OFF freedom and save a couple bucks not having to buy more character slots.

I remember a post saying that Disruption and Support were needed the most, so Ima gonna transfer my Emp and Storm just so I can remember why I don't like to PvP.

It'd be nice if we had a server with alot of pvp'rs without the cubic tons of pve'rs...less laggy i think

A few things. I transfered my blaster "Old School Gentleman" to Freedom. Already hit RV, good times. I do have to say I haven't had that much fun in a zone in a long time. Cant wait to get in the evening.
As for overcrowding causing lag, that is a concern. With free transfers another server could be picked, however plenty of PvPers are already on Freedom and moving may not be in the interest of those parties. Personally I would move if others did.
