Need help finding Fake Nemesis and Paragon Protectors

So, I started to collect my accolade badges and I’ve found it difficult to find a few of the defeats I’m supposed to take down. Where can you find Fake Nemesis and Paragon Protectors in bulk?

After I take care of those I’ll be working on others. I’ll also start working on Vamryi, werewolves, witches, Fir Bolgs, Ghosts, Tuatha de Dannan, Lost bosses and Monkeys… looks like I’ll be busy for a while.

Try Firebase Zulu, I'd suggest looking around Point X-Ray.

Peregrine Island, or Point X-Ray in Fire Baze Zulu

There is an arc that contains a mission with ALL "7th Generation Paragon Protectors". It's really easy to get the badge by running that mission a couple of times. The foes are minions and LTs and don't usually get a chance to MoG on you, which makes it go by really fast an easy as well. lol

Revenant Hero Project (lvl 35-39) by Gordon Stacy in Brickstown (or Ouro)
Unfortunately, there are quite a few annoying "delivery" missions before you get to the mission you want, but they aren't hard. Once you get "Find Paragon Protectors evidence", you're golden. Sometimes you can get the badge you want in only 1 run if spawned for a full team.

Striga FTW! Vamps only at "night", so spend that time only going after them, and then once they stop spawning, go after the Wolves until night comes again. It usually doesn't take more than a couple "day cycles".

You can also run Hess/Moonfire and you'll typically have the defeat badges by the end of those, as well as pick up the badges for doing those TFs.

Croatoa FTW! Ghosts only at night, but they are plentiful once they come out. Each type of foe has it's own area of the map they usually hang out in and you can get them by the dozens at any given time.

Peregrine Island.. on the island directly north of Portal Corps. If you can't take their minor Psi damage, Crey's Folley is your next best place. Some people even find decent spots in RWZ to grab a few. PI is by far the fastest though if you can handle them.

Striga Isle. Moonfire TF will go a long way. Vampyri, as much as I hate the mission, can be found in the Destroy the vampyr lab from Tobias Hansen.

Croatoa missions, or street hunt, pretty much the same rates.

It is interesting to see where we agree and disagree on the specific badge hunts.

Actually there is always one group on those maps that does not have any Protectors in it.

Depends on if you have any progress on it before. I've counted the amount on a full team, and it is around 90 7th Gen PPs on the map each time. As you need 200 for the badge, if starting from zero, it takes just over two runs to get the badge.

Well I certainly don't "disagree" with you... some defeat badges can be easily obtained in several places and some people just happen to think of one place over another, depending on where they got the badge themselves. lol

Funny how we both multi-quoted like that at the same time though. haha

That sounds about right. I wasn't sure if the requirement was reduced on that or not, and I was just referencing the wiki where it said:
Quote:
(Note: This base is entirely populated with Paragon Protectors. A large team may spawn enough of them to complete the Infiltrator Badge in a single run.)
Since the requirement hasn't changed, I certainly agree it'd take more than one run-through if starting from nearly 0.

Fake Nemesis
Point X-Ray, Point Sierra

Vamryi, werewolves
Striga works, usually run moonfire for both

Lost bosses can be also found in TV between entrance and reactor.

While I preffer to hunt PP and fakes in FBZ, you can find some PPs in CF and Eden

Not all disagreements have to be hostile . Perhaps a better choice of words would be where we "differ".

Yeah. I was thinking that too. Especially where we agreed.

Thanks for the help folks, gives me something to work on this weekend.

I'd mostly agree with everything everyone has said, and add weight to the Lost boss hunts. I'd hunted them in all the usual places, and then tried the sewers once, and once you're at the correct depth, you're done in no time. 1-3 per spawn, and spawns practically on each others laps and no real ability to scatter made it the easiest Lost boss hunt I've found.

For what it's worth, I like the hunt out in X-Ray, since when you can't find a Fake, you're usually finding 2 PPs, or vice-versa, so if ya need any quantity of both, it's a pretty solid bet, even more so if you want overseers, too.

I've had a bit of trouble finding a reliable way to find said enemies redside. Any pointers from villain badgers?

If you can handle x8 spawns, then Operative Grillo arc "Escaped!" is great way to farm PPEs, perhaps you would have to run it twice. The Fab in GV is another place to get PPEs.

Fakes can be found in Liberate TV. Dark Watcher's arc is also good to farm Fakes.

For Vampires and Wolves the council paper missions are the best IMO

How about Outcast leaders? I've always tried Steel, but it's very slim there. Can't even think of any outcast arcs blue side, either.

Do Hollows missions with full teams.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I don't think I've spent any time in the Hollows since the revamp. In for a quick Cavern Trial, then boom, gone.

But, I should think Frostfires arc is available via Ouroboros. Hmm, gotta look into that, thanks for the inspiration!

One thing to consider is that if you are hunting for bosses (nemesis or PP). You can grab a mish with them in it and set it to x8/-1 and turn off bosses. The bosses will still spawn, but they con as louies.

For fakes there is a handful of mishes in the RWZ arcs that have unique spawns with 4-7 fakes. (this is mishes that are set to 8)

Yeah, that's pretty horrifying. I was doing Dark Watcher's arc with a full team and we were running into spawns of 6 or more Fake Nemesis. Man, I hate that phasing power.

Haha. I was soloing it set for x8. Six fakes in the same group went painfully slow. They were bubbling each other and phasing here and there. That fight took good 30 minutes for me

fake nemesis : rotating route of PI, if u do it with 2 ppl, one starts from the north , one start from the south, you will finish in half an hour. Good spawnin points are the docks and the area around arena and hospital

PP: i think noone metioned it, but EDEN, at the borders of Serpentine and Utopia, way good spot, also manti tf and a praetorian mission (i can't recall the contact), that there are only PP mobs (minions, lt, bosses and all kills count for the badge)

Lost : as others said, down to the sewers

wolves and vampyriis: citadel, hess and moonfire tf, and in the centre of striga isle (though it must be night for the vamps to come out)

monkeys : cutlass isles, PI

for the rest, the best place is Croatoa, or the baby new year mission for red caps and tuatha

Any hints for getting 90 (killed a few of the buggers) Fake Nems redside? I need the Nemesis Rifle for the character, but it's a pain to try and hunt them down, when they only seem to appear in Missions redside...

If you can handle x8 spawns, then Fakes can be found in Liberate TV mission. Dark Watcher's arc (and perhaps Serpent Drummer's arc) is also good to farm Fakes.
