Yup, and that's what people will need to use to make sure that the names are available before suggesting them to people.

I like coming up with my own names, but I'm sort of curious. I'm jumping on the whole ninja bandwagon and rolling an Electric, Fire, or Stone Melee Ninja-themed Brute. So, something that would fit either of those elements that isn't punny. This will be on Virtue too, so good luck.

It does, but the last...uhmm...every time I've tried it, it was unable to verify the name, which many times did exist. So it's not a reliable source, IMO.

Iwa is Japanese for rock. So go with Iwa Ninja, Iwa Blade, Iwa Knife, Dark Iwa... I'm on Virtue right now and those are available.
Denki is Japanese for electricity. "Den" is the prefix for "electric." Kobushi means both samurai warrior and fist, so "Kobushi Dendou" means either "Electric Samurai" or "Electric Fist." Maybe the words go the other way, I don't really recall. Maybe you could, you know, look that info up.
Dageki means strike/blow/damage... so "Denki Dageki" means "Electricity Strike."
Denkou or Raikou both mean lightning, and they sound like cool words. I didn't check those, but you can look for yourself.

I took a quick glance at Wikipedia for ideas, since my knowledge of ninjas is pretty limited. It notes that some of the legendary or mythological superhuman abilities of ninja were believed to come from the five classical elements. Of those, fire and earth/stone are mentioned along with their words, "ka" and "chi"(or "ji"). Perhaps these can serve as inspiration?
I've found available so far:
Stonesword (more a scrapper thing, I grant you)

Char Shadow
Charred Shadow
Shadowka
Shadow Ka
Shadowchi
Shadowji
Shadow Ji
Kameji (from "kame" = of the spirits/divine, and "ji" = earth)

Actually the point of me posting this is I want to see others ideas,I get a kick out of people's toons/bio's/themes and sometimes people have a different way of looking at things than I do.Perhaps something can be used or it may lead me into the right direction.I am my own worst enemy when it comes to toons,I get an idea and build it then get tired of it because it doesn't feel right.(I know sorta weird)
The thing that is screwin me up is that I can't get the usual suspects out of my head ie;Matrix,Trigun,etc.It's like I have a block when I think about a DP toon.Meh..stoopid brain...

), maybe one of Emperor Cole's top enforcers, who keeps the Syndicate and Resistance in line through police brutality, a steady aim and mental dysfunctionality, which leads him to get a bit twitchy and dangerous at times if aggravated.Can't check availability since I'm over on the other side of the pond though.

While it's perfectly acceptable for a name, it means effectively "turtle earth," not "divine earth."
The root word you're looking for is "kami," as in "kamikaze -- divine wind."

Okay, sick and tired of hearing how there are "no good names" and how certain people can't find names at all.... I've heard it for years coming in like a bad rash every so often. So, I'm opening this thread for EVERY server, for EVERY player. Can't come up with a name? Have a specific "preference"? Then come here and let OTHERS be creative FOR you!
Give the name of the server that you want to make the character on, and your "requirements". Like, for example:
"On Freedom I want to make some characters named Celestial with royalty titles!"
Well there you have it. It's that simple. Tell us what you want, and what server you want it on, and anyone can come in here and suggest names.
The only rule is this: If you post suggested names, you HAVE to have verified their availability at the TIME of your post. Do NOT just throw out names without CHECKING whether they are available on the requested server FIRST.
That's it. So, who wants to be the first Guinea Pig? Just consider it another public service.
