Half and full figure sketches are less common, but they're out there for sure. I don't have any more on hand, so we're at the mercy of the community to continue sending these in. Keep 'em coming, guys!

I am a sad sack that Hero Con is always on the damned coast. Otherwise, I'd send you what you did for me. *bawls*

Hell yeah,

You'd think they could have it in D/FW one of these years!
Heck, they could have the whole thing IN the DFW "airport-complex", I mean they have everything = you could live there if you wanted and could afford it... But, having the whole Con there without ever leaving the Airport, that could be fairly expensive.

I'm 98% certain that the overall 'cost of living' = aka the cost of basically everything, is much cheaper here in Texas. And with a little searching I'm sure we could find a very nice AND reasonably priced place to hold it somewhere in the 'DFW Metroplex'. Probably less than 3 to 5 miles from the main (DFW International) Airport.

If you wanted to get the absolute best deals you might settle on someplace 8-12 miles away at most. Six Flags over Texas - is just a few miles south of there in Arlington, as well... Plus all the shopping, eating, movies, dinner theater, stand-up comedy, concerts, sports, you name it & you can almost certainly find it nearby.

Just posted a journal on DeviantArt in hopes of tracking down more of these, but I've still got quite a few on hand whether or not the DA folks come through. Here're 3 more:

The words out of my mouth when I saw the first one.

WOAH! beautiful use of lighting to really make him look ominous, it amazes me what you can do with those markers

The skull? Wickedly awesome...
Catgirl? Vey cute
Last one? I like the smug smirk he has...

Got an unexpectedly huge response to my DA post about tracking down these sketches, so here're a few more:

Mmm...cookie. Too bad there's not a milk-themed poster to give me a nice cold glass to go with it.

But I'll take some bacon if Kheldarn's offering!

Prismacolors. A lot of pro artists use Copics, but they're too feathery for what I do. I like the nice solid, continuous tones that you get from Prismas.

Scan resolution desired? File format?

And yes, I've had the sketch you made hung up where I can see it every day.

Edit:
Sent a 300 DPI .PNG, with a second color corrected attempt (I need the practice).

Awesome as always... Love the last one out of these latest three but still must say the second is best... Twins always get extra points

Very well done - You deserve a treat.

And just in case that's not enough to keep the pics coming.... I'm going to get someone to install an extra key onto your keyboard:

Wow. Awesome thread with awesome drawings. Thanks for sharing! Hope you keep'em coming!
If I didn't live halfway across the world I'd totally get to Hero Con just for one of those!

Hard to beat twins. I've got a couple more coming with 4 characters each, so MAYBE those'll do the trick. We'll see.

And I need a bacon button for real.
