Hmmm I recently had some stuff I did in Photoshop Elements sent off to be professionally printed and the "blues" came back as "purples" wonder if this is what goofed it up. 
Oddly the test stuff I printed at home came out fine.

Oh, and as for the at home color proofing - most home ink jet or laser printers use a RGB toner cartridge, so they actually may trick you into thinking the same files will print reasonably the same commercially.

Fair enough. I suppose for a project of this magnitude, going to a local printer would be the best bet and letting them take care of that. Of course, I should probably figure out how to actually put all this stuff together into a book. hrm....
