New arts by Clap-San! I love their style and the takes they did on my trio previously so when I saw a chance to get Fen's new costume and Fenian Wolf done, I had to jump on it.

I like them but its debatable whether or not they worked

Personally, I think the right colorist obviously makes it worthwhile! *I still love the originals but I really love the colored versions at least as much....

The right colorist can bring out all the best elements without taking away from the style of the pencils. Eddy was clearly the man for the job on those.

Yea, I've always loved how Eddy adapts his coloring to the original art rather than forces his color techniques onto them...
And thanks, I love Clap-Sans art all around... I think I may try to snag a watercolor or two next

Ok, new arts in and I am LOVING them! Trying to get a minor adjustment to the Fenian picture but even without that change, my jaw just dropped on all of these! 
These arts are by no1laziestguyon DA. as per his rule "12. You must be willing if i put my own touch in your character." I must admit they're not 100% accurate from the references but they are all amazing and I am definitely going to have to go back to this guy!!
First up is Daybreak Alpha - I'll say straight off that the guns attached to his armor threw me at first... They are very War Machine-ish but were they Daybreaker Alpha-ish? But hey, one of the pluses of a suit of armor is that it can be modified and adapted to the situation, right?
Next up is Fenian Wolf - You may not be as familiar with her as with my Trio but she is growing on me fast and if arts like this keep being made, I shall keep buying more and more arts for her! Now this doesn't really replicate her Arachnos Soldier armor, nor even the non Arachnos Soldier costume I've made for her, but it does replicate the spirit of it in that she is all but dealed up in it... And despite that, she looks darn sexy!! I'm not exactly sure what she's doing with the mace in this picture but you can be sure I'd hang around and watch... from a safe distance!

Caemgen is up next - This is probably the most perfect of them all... in ways the most true to the character, heck definitely... The spin he put on are spins I allow all artists with Caemgen... And there's not a thing I don't like about this version!
Finally, Fenian... Ok, this one will still have some change made and I'm not yet exactly sure what... But even so, she looks amazing! I'm just asking for some minor change to tie her in as Fenian a bit more... willing to work with the artist with this but she definitely needs a shamrock somewhere
All in all, I really dig the spin he put on my characters... While some are more of a bullseye than others, all are very interesting and cool. And I love the detail he put into them all.... Have to say, I am very, very, very impressed by his art!

Thanks all, glad you like... I think he'd be totally unendingly swamped if he was a tad more faithful to the costumes. Personally I don't mind the changes but I know there are some pickier than I am May have to see about colorizing these one day....
But, just got in a piece that was totally faithful to the costume and also did a freakishly amazing job!
Rhardo is one of those artists who I think is always consistantly awesome... yet really accessable which is nice! Just got one of the two pieces I was waiting for from him... As you can tell, Fenian Wolf is becoming quite popular with me!

Yeah, I said that last time but I think his latest piece on Fenian proves the point
With all due repect to CR and his absolutely amazing portrait of Fenian, I think it has competition for the all time best art of Fenian title... Sorry man, but a body really helps... And Rhardo did a great job on the body! 
Seriously though, I love how the pose and the glow about the eyes really speaks to the witchness of Fenian which doesn't usually show through... I love how he used the hood and the scarf for dramatic effect... I LOVE the row of shamrocks up the one side in place of the buttons which are normally on the jacket! (I may have to steal that!)

You probably haven't heard of this kid yet but he's a powerhouse from down under and one day will explode on this side of the planet, I think! These are colors on Bindweed/Happy-Dan lines found earlier in this thread...

Great new arts Caem. Love the Eddy colors as always. The Carnival piece reminds me of a 70s x-ploitation/b-movie poster! Which after seeing Machete this weekend, I'm really digging!

I won't even try to pick a favorite. How to pick? Does winged Caemgen have more potatoes than juggling Fenian? I think I'll just dwell on the aura of these pieces. Of ART. Sigh.
