But seriously, giving a heads up to a new artist (or style) that someone else wants to get art from is a better compliment than a "cool art" any day.And it is as Bayani said, I will occasionally just surf DA via people's favorites. I'll usually start with an artist I like and check their favorites folder for more cool art. I'll then check that artist's favorites, and so on and so on... I find that browsing through the artist's favorites is more effective than another collector's as the same names keep appearing in collector's favorites. Sure, there is good reason for that but I dig finding new artists and different styles and leapfrogging artist to artist tend o show more variety...

Next up is the colors! It seems one of the big things delaying these was that PresidentNelson was having colorist issues... His usual colorist got behind and the Prez waited and waited but finally turned to another colorist in order to clear up some backlog. So these final pieces are:

I think i watch too much CSI, the blood splatter on fen is from a knife. Fen, last i checked, was electrical in nature. just something that jumped out at me. Otherwise they look really cool. the fractal arc between alphas fists is also pretty cool.

Woah, it was going to be hard to improve those amazing lines with colour, but it works. I like the Caemgen one best. The colours let the ink shine through.
CSI would have used image enhancement on the Fenian picture to identify the perp from blood-borne DNA. Then there'd be a slow-mo oversaturated sequence showing us exactly how the blood got from his mouth to her shoulder after he suggested splitting the bill.

. I think you know that but I always want to make sure the artists get their proper credit...And thanks all, glad you like them as much as I do... As for the blood splatters, Fen does use electric based magics but, errr, if some Family goon accidently cut himself while falling down a few times that can't really he helped, can it?
As for more on the way... I do still have a few arts outstanding: a set from Bindweed, from Ravenskar, Aposcar, a single piece of Caem from UndineCG and probably a couple I am forgetting but i'm in a bit if a buying freeze at the moment until I get my character sheets done... It's hard to keep from buying more, there's been a couple of really good artists and deals I've wanted to jump on, but I am forcing myself to hold off...
Oooooh, almost forgot I have another Nema piece in the works... It should he a pretty dramatic piece!!
Couple new pieces in...
First up is from Taclobanon. Recently he found himself way, way behind due to a change at work that affected his schedule and such. Due to this his commissions were done a lot slower than he was used to. Feeling bad he closed for a bit to catch up and when he did get so he did a bunch of free sketches for those who had stuff delayed.
Myself, and at least a few others I saw, told him not to worry about the free sketches, delays happen and the unexpected creeps up from time to time - Life can be unavoidable that way. Still, he insisted... And there's only so much denying of free arts one can do
If you're not familiar with Taclobanon, do not judge him by this sketch alone - Go check out his DA Gallery (link above)! Not to say that this sketch isn't very cool, I like it quite a bit... But it is a quick and free sketch and by no means shows off his full talent. I love this guys work and definitely will be hiring him again in the future...
Next up is Alpha's Omega...

That's right ladies and gentlemen, Alpha has met his end. What with my habit of buying in sets and the fact that not everyone does great at hot chicks, slightly anthro/demon characters and armored characters, I decided to change my trio to a duo.
Obviously killing off Caemgen was not an option. He may be the one who is hardest to get done right but he's also my namesake! And while I really loved Alpha's backstory and such... Fenian is much hotter than him. lol...
Of course, in comic books realities everyone comes back eventually so there's definitely no saying Alpha is dead for good... So many possibilities for bringing him back: Kheldians, dark magic, Crey cloning techniques, someone else donning the armor, etc etc... But for a good long while, excepting a few outstanding pics that may or may not eventually get finished, Alpha is out of the picture after this...
Anyway, you came here to see art, not listen to my ramblings... So here is Alpha's Omega by Nema once again:

Actually, most is stored on my computer and backed up on disk but I assume you are talking the art where I have received the actual physical version...
So far I basically have it all stored in what it was shipped to me in... I really need to get off my butt on do something better than that. All in all though, proper storage isn't something I am very knowledgable on and once I do get around to it I'll probably check out the links in Bayani's guide and see what's what...

I can't wait to see this one colored as well. It should be an impressive contrast to see the red background and blue contrast of alphas armor.
As far as reviving characters. They killed off robin and then they brought him back as nightwing...which i was never really satisfied with as a character...so if you do bring him back, make sure you don't nightwing him :P

Oh also, come on, we all know that's a clone from the latest story arc! LOL I'll bet his armor isn't even the exact same color.... lol

In game I just don't love any of the wings available... Caem started off without wings, obviously. The first recipe drop I got was the bat wings and he sported those tiny li'l things in game for... err, ages. I actually kind of liked them but they were just too darn small...
Next he had the Draconic wings for a huge slice of time... But my problem with those is they're too darn big. And really, all the wings bug me when running around, I wish they'd collapse more rather than sticking up over the shoulders... *shrug*
Anyway, I'm boring you with needless detail... I gave artists pretty much free reign on the wings for the longest time, hoping someone would do something that just totally struck me as "Caemgen's Wings" for arts... And while there was no lightning bolt on them like when I saw Swanzy put the knotwork on his shoulder pads, I have come to prefer this style. I think it looks cool and also gives artists plenty of room to alter them to person style/taste...

I wasn't saying I didn't like the wings, because I do! I had just noticed the changes and while I know each artist is going to interpret wings differently I was just curious if this is more what your final imagining of his wings is... I'm with you, I wish the in-game wings could shrink a bit more while just walking around. I have one toon with wings because of it and she is a hover blaster so it makes sense for her.
Personally, to draw Caemgen, I am inspired by Ron Perlman in the TV show "Beauty and the Beast":
