The End is near.

Surely the Apocalypse is upon us. I have seen a stone tank running Granite fly through the air. Who would have thought you could find enough people with Group Fly.

How did you do it? Going by RedTomax you'd need 11 people with group fly on to lift a Tanker but since it only works on teammates I can't see a way to get moe than 7 on him at once.

Maybe Hover? Hover has a high Fly magnitude so that it isn't instantly grounded by a -fly effect.

Maybe someone tp'ed them into air first? I know after tp you hover for a sec.

I have my suspicions as to how it happened

According to Red Tomax's City of Data, Granite Armour gives -10 fly, whereas Group Flight gives +1 fly. Theoretically, you'd need 10 people with Group Fly going OTHER than the Stone Tanker to levitate him. The Stone Tanker himself cannot use any self-fly powers, because both Hover and Fly, as well as all the flight packs, turn off Granite Armour when they turn on, and I'm not aware of any other given fly powers. Remember, just flight SPEED does not help with -fly powers. Fly magnitude does, and any flight magnitude sends normal characters flying.

Group Fly's buff sticks to the player for a few seconds after they leave the area of effect, so maybe they had some extra players on standby and quickly swapped out teammates before the effect expired.

Is group fly a team only power?

Could be a graphical glitch in that the Stoner retained the Granite form look even though they were technically out of Granite form.

don't forget the option that the person made a couple of client side mods.. .which are against TOS.

Possible answers to this vexing question...

* The Chinese Restaurant Ironblade ordered dinner from thought he said "Beef with Shrooms" rather than "Beef with Mushrooms"

* The Granite Tank wandered too close to the Annual Catapult Target Shooting Competition.

* It was actually a Peacebringer in Nova form with a bad case of Venutian Mumps.

* The Granite Tank, talking about Ms. Liberty, said "I'd tap that" in front of Statesman. Statesman, in return, showed him a different way to get his rocks off.

* The Tank couldn't afford the Deluxe Granite Costume; so he had to go with papermache and gray paint.

* Ironblade's computer has developed its own Artificial Intelligence and has become self-aware. Fortunately for us it has not developed the personality of Sky-Net. Unfortunately for Ironblade it HAS developed the personality of Ashton Kutcher.

If he was falling off City Hall, the glowing circles from his Hasten would be farther from his hands, plus if you look close you can see the blue trail from the flight effect dripping down like it does when you're stationary.

Looks like he jumped with a Kinetic's jump power. Considering that the flight aura is white and that is more of a turquoise/aqua.

Why would I get together a ton of kins to FAKE a screenshot of a Granite flying when it'd be easier to just get a bunch of anybody and have them grab Group Flight on their second build and get a REAL screenshot of a Granite flying?
