I would kill for a dirty fighting powerset
And of course a level 18 power: "Kick 'm in the Jimmies"

I'm not good at giving advice, can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
@Lyrik
Only if it has a "what're YOU lookin' at?" emote. And an eyepoke as one of the low level attacks.
I would love a dirty fighting powerset, it would be melee for scrappers and brutes. It would kick so much ***, with head butts, groin kick, maybe a knife in the boot.

Though, I'll be all for a "knife to the boot" attack if it automatically failed against enemies without feet.
*** kicking cannot be found. Please try again.
Reduce the height slider on the toon to minimum.
Fight normal sized "human" opponents.
Use Cobra Strike. Your above wish has been granted..................

GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

When your fighting melee, 50% of the time your not even touching the guy your hitting, your standing a good 2 or 3 feet away. So I dont think it would be that big of an issue if the groin kick didnt always make contact.
I wasn't very specific, by knife in the boot I meant your character has hidden a small knife by his ankle and does a quick stab with it.
The new Martial Arts animations look kinda dirty.
Meh, I'd be completely satisfied with Martial Arts, if they came up with alternate animations for Crane Kick and Dragon Tail. Let me make a scrapper with entirly punch attacks, dang it!
-This Space Intentionally Left Blank.-
I have to admit, with my Archery/Devices blaster, laying down trip mines, loosing Rain of Arrows from around the corner, and waiting for the survivors to blow themselves up,winning the bout without ever coming into line of sight of an opponent, feels like pretty dirty fighting to me.
My scrapper doesn't need an AoE. She IS an AoE.

They should give the option for a broadsword or something to look like a knife, but i really dont see the need for an entire powerset. But, appearently my Dirty Fighting idea isn't very popular so what do i know?
Hate to rain on your parade but I cannot imagine someone who learned to fight on the streets competing with super heroes and villains.
To any dev who may be readin, mark this as a nay vote.

Or he, y'know, beat them seven ways past hell and back using every punch, kick and downright dirty trick in his considerably large arsenal?

While I'm sure that Batman knows how to fight dirty didn't he receive training from the strongest Martial Artists in all kinds of disciplines?

True. But sometimes the quickest way to end a fight is to just kick the enemy so hard in the fork that he wont walk straight for a week.

You miss the point tech.
Dirty fighting is not worthy of a power set. I would be ok with an array of Dirty Fighting temp powers.....
Devs I know you're reasonable.
Chalk this idea up to whim.
Don't give it a serious thought.

I know that I would be happy with a less sylised and more straight forward fighting set. Yes, SS is great with the new animations, but it's still got the glowyness and the big fx stuff. Nor are the martial arts moves really the right kind of thing.
T'be honest, how does a mere martial artist fight alongside super heroes and villains? Hmm? How does a sword, or an axe or a club work? Surely a mace would break on, say, a Malta Titan? Hell, even a Clockwork prince.
But they do. Dirty fighting is a better way of putting 'Fighting in whatever way best serves to beat up your enemies.'
Ninjitsu's Blinding powder, for example. Placate is, in a way. There is a whole range of way's it could be done. Maybe a set with more de-buffs to it? -shrug-

We agree to disagree.
I have no interest in changing your mind.
I certainly do not decide which decisions are made with respect to this game.
I never made such a claim.
I offered my opinion to any Dev who may stumble upon this thread.
My insistance that Street Fighting should not be taken seriously was directed at a Dev, not a fellow gamer.
Shouldn't the title of this post be "I would suckerpunch your grandma for a dirty fighting powerset?"
I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.
