XP and rewards not doubled in M.A.
They've never double-rewarded the AE content. Similarly, rested XP does not work in there either.

wait wait wait double exp is already happening?
remember. AE wasn't supposed to have double rewards on the last week-end either. The AE levelers got lucky in that there wasn't a roll-back on all levels gained through AE content.

I am wondering if a dev would be willing to post saying specifically that XP is not supposed to be doubled in MA - at least that way we'd know for sure that's the way it's supposed to be working.

What!? People are still doing AE missions!? Shocking!
The benefit to running AE farms instead of PI or GV farms is that you can run them in RWZ.
However I did confirm that AE farms are not giving double XP.
It's back to PI and GV for you all!
I'd forgotten that Double XP was on already and was shocked to see how much XP I got for that arc. I was about ready to bug it when I remembered DXP was starting a day early.

As I sign on early this morning, there is a message in the game's MoTD from Positron that explains there is an issue and it should be awarding double XP. Unfortunately, he also informs us that they won't be able to fix it before the weekend is up.

i bet that bug is a lie xD just a excuse for no exp in AE
I was planning a mixture of TF, outside story arcs and a few AE runs which wont happen... I'm still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt... (grateful that they recognized and fixed the drop rates, which for me have been borked since I13 and other QoGL issues).

This problem is typical when there isn't sufficient Test Server testing. After all, there wasn't a test for 2xp where this would have been flagged.
Same thing happened to the Wedding Pack and other Booster Packs that got a too-short test period (or none at all). Same thing happened with last year's Halloween event -- the two-hour play test periods weren't enough to show that the Spirits weren't spawning correctly, and then once that event goes Live, there's no time to correct it.

Double XP definitely worked in AE last time. There was resounding shock by pretty much all involved wherever they stood on the matter of whether it was a good thing or not.

I'm about 99.99999999999991% positive that they never will say. That way they can keep their butts covered and not have to deal with Nerd Rage on either side of the fence. Yanno, just something else they don't have to be accountable for.

I've tested this both inside (of MA) and out.
At the moment, double rewards are without a doubt turned on for "official" content.
They are not on for anything in Mission Architect. (I've tested to see if it was unique to custom mobs, but it isn't. Even developer mobs do not have doubled rewards if you are doing a MA mission.)
I know the 'official' start time for double XP weekend is 10:59 am Central Time, but unless it somehow gets turned on incrementally, I'd say there will be no double rewards in M.A.
