Is it just me, or did yesterday's patch fix the drop rates?
I hope it did, unfortunately there are no patch notes and we can only speculate as to what fixes were pushed yesterday. Some are saying it was the "Master of" disconnect fix. Some players have been testing drop rates over in the Market forums, i will check later on to see if anyone posted anything new. I can't test myself because I will be away all weekend.
Who do I have to *&^% around here to get more Targeted AoE recipes added?

Seriously Dechs, you don't need to seek out every thread that is remotely relevant to this, post your suspicions AND start another thread on it yourself.

I'm just trying to find out if it anyone else has seen this. It's been a big concern even in the open beta. It would be nice to get some kind of confirmation that it's fixed.
As to the other threads I've posted in: They asked what the patch did. I simply said how I felt.

My recipe drops were still the stinky last night.
total kick to the gut

I got one report last night stating drop rates had been returned to normal. I'll be testing tonight.
Be well, people of CoH.

Just defeated ~380 mobs (~300 minions ~80 lts) and got 5 recipes (3 common, 1 uncommon, 1 temp power)

Are Purples still barely dropping as well? Y'know, more than usual?
It used to be that most of the time, at least 1 person got a purple on an ITF. I've been on several during the past couple of months and haven't noticed anyone get any.
I ran a little test. Took my brute into the possessed scientist mission in Gville. I didn't count the mobs I defeated but my diff was +2/x8. I fought 6 mobs set for 8 players and I received 5 recipes. All Common IOs.
That seems about right to me.
Undesirable piece of reality number whatever: the only people with the means to come to a conclusion about drop rates with any sort of strength are the devs.

It's possible that if there is indeed a bugged drop rate, it might not be affecting every recipe pool, meaning that Purple drops may still be normal, but not Pool A.

I think it did fix the drop rates, I was getting several times as much last night than I was the night before. Actually had to make a few trips to unload between missions.
Drop rates definitely seem better, just ran a council paper in GV. +0/8 man. Got 16 salvage and 6 recipes, all generic though, no sets.

In fact, the session I just ended: 376 kills, ZERO recipes.

Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!
Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.
Playing last night I grabbed a kinetic combat while playing my lowbie stalker.
I ran two +0/x8 missions with my 50 and had more recipe and salvage drops than I've had in a week. I am glad I worked for that extra storage space.
Either I had a spectacularly good run, or the drop rates have been returned to normal.
