Ok so its 98.6% (That is a very accurate number) complete. But looking over my old posts I realized that I have said I was going to update 3 times and didnt. So here is what we have for the generator room, just missing a few details.

Entrance clean room

Now look left...

...and right.

Stairway to Control Room

Control Room view 1

Control Room view 2

Fuse Box (Not really sure what to do with it)

Air lock

Viewing Hall

Generator exhaust

The outside remains relatively unchanged. I can give ya that tour tonight Turbo if you will be on.

Well, I haven't poked my nose into this thread since Lord knows when and after perusing the work being done I have to say I'm impressed. Awesome work guys!

Oh, and Turbo, one of these days I'm going to have to bug you to let me have a look around, hehe.

Great work Dead. I can appreciate those hanging lights from the stacked floor. Lord knows how frustrating that could get. I would like to take a tour sometime soon.

Sure thing. Shoot me a global and I will accept it next time I'm online. Were working on closing on a house at the moment and my wedding is 18 days away so needless to say, I have had less then stellar playing time.

People get busy with life. One will show up eventually and we will all go wow. Becasue thats what we always do.

At least I do. I wish I had a third of the talent (and dedication) that a lot of these designers have.

Enjoy your day please.

So much has changed since I last visited the control room. After rethinking the layout, I realized that the room was to one-dimensional and lacked "the space feel". I wanted the create the illusion that the control room is surrounded by space and high tech equipment like something from star trek, or star wars.

The room is far from done but I think its starting to take shape. I am still messing around with monitor + control aux combinations and hope to have more of the interior complete in my next update.

@Turbo: I'm curious how you deal with doorways... especially going from rooms that are textured as "outer space". Doesnt the black/brick texture appear in the doorways between rooms at least partially? and if so how do you handle that?

It's easier to just turn your SG colors to black/black and then use Supergroup Wall Banners. Cover the wall with them, and with the SG colors set to black/black they don't even reflect light, so they look like the void of space. You just set your SG colors back to normal after you're done placing all the banners.

If you don't want a slightly different black where the SG logo is, use a floated cubicle to flip them so the SG logo side faces the wall.

And since wall items stick to the surface of the banners, you can just place the little round wall lights directly on them to make stars.

Yep, that's what I used for my starfield windows for the House of Heroes satellite. I'll get pics posted whenever that room is complete. Just need another 1.5 million Prestige to do it....

Oh, wow.

Where is this base again? I think I may have found a way to convey Anti-Matter's Orbital Lab, if I can get in here and film...

I black out banners and hang them on the walls. This allows you to use whatever theme you like.

Just how many Supergroup bases are "in orbit" over Paragon City?*

It's got to be getting a mite crowded up there.

-np

* - and how many of them have Binary Fusion Generators?

We only have two Turbine Generators in ours but we're a small crew. I managed to build up the twin Turbine Generators to look like a single massive piece of equipment though for the House of Heroes base.

And yes.... I think it is rather crowded there. Might have to take a "laser" to the moon for what I call my "death star" and start knocking the others out of my way.

I'm happy to see the space concept has taken off. It's been suggested that the final mission in the "tip mission series" will be applied to bases because of this concept.

I should have some time tonight (hopefully) to come survey that room. Its just been crazy in RL.

I am curious tho if people have back stories for their bases. Ours is located on Saturn's Largest moon, Titan. We mine a green ore, which the name escapes me at this point (insert Mystic wisdom here), that powers the massive generator necessary to teleport us to Earth and other dimensions.

Our janitors name is Fluffy.

Okay still a work in progress, but here are some pics of the new meeting room for the House of Heroes satellite, complete with a starfield view on two walls.

Another part of our satellite that I'm proud of is the hangar deck, where our stealth air-space transport, the Grey Ghost Mk II, is kept ready for use at a moment's notice. Note that the metal doors will soon be replace with a star field view, just as we see from the meeting room.

The base is currently under construction but is available for anyone to see when I'm on (@DemonHunter-1 or @DemonHunter-2). I'm active on the Base Builders Inc. channel when I'm logged on.

The House of Heroes SG is on Virtue server's blue side.

So... wow!

That is some top notch work. The meeting room reminds alot of what we are trying to go for with the warroom (item number 6 on the UPP to do list) and that space fighter is absolutely brilliant. I am actually working on one myself (lil different shape) that is going to house our raid teleporter.

But yaeh definitely excellent work man. Cant wait to see it in person!

Thanks! I'm always willing to have people in to look around when I'm free. At the moment, I'm getting close to completion for the meeting room, and I'm in the process of redoing my lobby/reception area (added a Robotic Fabricator behind a custom made desk, for starters). I'm slowly working on upgrading everything in the base to that standard. It's a work in progress though, just like every base

Looks great DH. I am always blown away by others who take a concept and make it there own. You nailed the stars and maintained a clean look. I like how you integrated tech components to make units which isn’t easy. Keep us posted.
