For the livestream tomorrow I'll be showing a couple of things I've been working on recently, with some comments about workflow technique. I'll also be discussing a couple theories of art that I've found useful in viewing my own work and art in general. Hopefully it will be a good blend of actual work-in-progress and food for thought.

hey man, got dragged away from your livestream today. but just went back and watched it, I found the stuff on Shklovsky and brecht very thought provoking and as always its great to hear anothers opinions on art related stuff and photoshop tricks.

Thanks for checking it out Eddy! It's hard to tell when I'm actually doing these streams whether people are bored to tears by more theoretical discussion or if they are really interested.

I'm generally always interested, which is why I'm so chatty there. Though I admit that even I wonder how many people are enjoying the active discussion. Speak up peeps!

I am not really well educated in art. I've always just made do with what I have self tought myself and tried to do cool stuff. so when ever you go into things like that I get alot out of it. but thats just me.

I think it's all interesting, but some of the concepts are outside my level of art education. I have opinions, but they're instinctual and not rationalized to a degree that I feel comfortable with them.

Maybe we need to do Art Theory 101.

I really have to tune into these things, because I love theory and art history. I'm seriously considering getting a secondary degree in art history, or at least making it my minor.

Ok, this Thursday I think I will be talking about vector work. Why? Because my Wacom tablet is dead (sniff sniff you were too young to die baby!).

So there will also probably be some vector work in the book eventually since I have nothing to draw with until the replacement arrives.
