Thats the annoying part, and apart from avatea mentioning it in a thread and a few PMs to some players from MOD08, EU players have no way of knowing whats going on in our test server. Expecting a few EU players to start threads wheres i16/whats up with our test server due to lack of official announcement on it.
Next time warn us in advance please?

Man that sucks for you guys on the Euro servers. As far as I'm concerned you deserve a chance to test the new stuff as much as anyone else paying money to play this game.

I've replied on the EU Training Rooms, but that might lack visibility so I'll go ahead and reply again here.
While we aren't happy about not being able to give the EU players access to the I16 Open Beta, it's a technical limitation we're working very hard to find a solution to. We will have this issue solved one way or another at some point in the future, and hope that you will bear with us in the meantime.
The only temporary work around we have at this time is for European players to create a North American Trial Account to check out the powers customization features in I16. While this won't give you the same level of access, it will give you the ability to check out a good deal of it.

Do appreciate the sorry 100%, however it does unfortunately doesnt take away the fact that there was no announcement about it and has made a lot of us EU players feel "second class" once again. We appreciate and understand technical difficulties, we just dont see why it feels like we have to push for an explanation [hence the comment about no announcement to us EU players].
Cant hide the fact that i am dissapointed though sorry, but again do appreciate you coming to us and saying sorry.

I would like to ask what kind of technical problem.
The fact that everyone but marketing in the Brighton office was fired and all the support is done from the US to servers located in Germany?
Sorry, it's a sly dig at what happened last year, I'm one of the lucky ones that is getting to test Issue 16.
It's just the fact they NEVER admit to being wrong. EVER.
'The Open Beta is available on the US Test Servers. However, due to a large technical screw up, the EU Test Servers are not able to access the Open Beta content. We kinda really, really screwed that up...'
Rather than blithely announcing that ALL Players have access to Beta. Given the hassle you have to go through to copy Test, let it update ALL the US version and get an account on it, that does NOT Count as access.
Just come out and admit something for once, for the love of pete...

Yup! Oh, lookit that, the EU players are angry again, oh well nevermind, we'll just DELETE their topics so no one else can see we made a mistake. Isnt that NICE.
This is as much fail as the server/host issue on Gears of War 2 online. And THAT is as close to a gaming/online sin as anything in the whole world. As in ***** style.
So flaming mad about this right now, mostly to do with the craven way the Devs are ignoring this and deleting threads about it.

The only announcement was in a thread about i16 closed beta and that was even a passing comment. So technically there hasnt been an "official" announcement to EU players yet.
