Solo AE Mishes

Are there any AE mishes out there that a solo guy can run through or farm ? Some days with my odd schedule it's pretty difficult to find teams.

Before you suggest I actually do real mishes outside of AE, I've done them for years and am tired of them. Right now I just want to explore new power types and how different powers work together.

There are quite a few, yeah, but you may have to search around to find some you like in your preferred level range.

Search for solo-friendly arcs thusly:
Browse and play/More/Match keywords/Solo Friendly

Have fun!

Okay, let's say I am 28th lvl, SS/WP tank, and I want to run some lowbies through an AE farm. What kind of AE mishes should I be looking for that I could survive basically solo while 7 lowbies sit huddled up in a corner ?

If someone has specific mishes, please let me know. I want to pay it forward for all the times I had people help me on AE teams and farms. Thanks.

LMAO, they can be as vocal as they want against me asking about farms (and we DID NOT cause global warming either) but I can't say I care much. The day I actually listen to a flamer is the day I put my brains on the wall. It's gonna take a heck of a lot more than some idiot like that to hurt my feelings, lol.

So ... about these AE "teams" lol ? Any advice or info ?

I'll have to check it out later tonight. Thanks for the tip.

I will join in in shameless pimping; I tried to resist the first time I saw this thread but now...

The two arcs listed in my threads are pretty soloable. I designed them around soloing primarily because I rarely have a team to test them out (who wants to play a story arc when you can farm?) and because being story driven, anyone other than the leader on a team will miss story content.

There IT IS

Not the Bunnygirl one, the other. I forgot which toon I was on when I ran it, and what level, but that mission was....a pita.

A pita in a good way...I would run back from the hospital with fury in my eyes....and a fierce desire for revenge. It got my dander up, but I completed it

Need to do it again, this time with my Dark/SR

Since you asked I've got 2 nuetral arcs that should be soloable.
ARC 315522 "Victory Garden"
Lvl range 20 to 45.
It's nuetral, so you can play it as a hero or villain. 5 missons, a few custom enemies and the Devouring Earth and Knives of Artemis. I tried to make it playable by lower level characters but the KoA may be too tough for characters under lvl say, 35 or so.

ARC 314976 "It's Fundamental"
Lvl range 30 to 54
Also nuetral. A psycho is building androids that resmeble fictional characters that go on seemingly pointless rampages. Can you defeat them and find out who this new villain is,and what they want?

Just tried it and liked it quite a bit.

Nice to see references to Mary Shelley and Jack Kirby which may fly over the heads of some.

Actually, you can structure things so the whole team sees everything. Put all the story information in the two dialogs before the mission (Mission Introduction and Mission Sendoff) and in the Mission Succeed/Fail popup. The only thing that doesn't get shown to the entire team is the post-mission Return Success and Return Failure dialogs.

All team members also get the clues, so if you put the Return Success/Fail dialog content in the Mission Complete clue the whole team can read all the useful content.

The Mission Introduction and Sendoff dialogs are concatenated and are available for anyone on the team to view from the more... button in the mission menu for the team.

HA! I'm glad you enjoyed it... sort of... if you can call that enjoyment anyways. Were you the one who left me a comment about playing it with a level 7 warshade?

I'll admit that last mission is a little harder than I had originally planned for. I've considered changing up the custom mobs' powers but they make too much thematic sense to me as they are. Still, the fact it can still be completable without too many deaths means it's still working more or less as intended, I think/hope. Testing it with my toons I found some could breeze through while others not so much depending on builds, slotting etc.

Hope you enjoy it on the Dark/SR and always - thanks for playing!

I'm currently working on a lowbie villain arc, I'll have to see if I can't squeeze my ever-verbose story into it that way. If I get adventurous and can find the time I may try and rejigger the previous arcs for that as well, thanks for the tips.

I haven't published it yet, but I'm working on a 'challenge'-type arc for solos and duos. It's part of my continuing (yet oddly unpublished) 'The Games' series. Most of the mobs are debuffers and it promotes different tactics for many players. I'll have to update it soon, I'm waiting for some people to do one of my other arcs before I unpublish it to put this one up.

It's kind of funny because it's challenging for a solo/duo but near impossible for a full team. Why? Well, with so many debuffers & buffers... um... well, have you ever seen a minion hit a stone tanker for 1400+ damage? Yeah..... much more manageable when solo since only 3-4 mobs are there per spawn.

Since you asked...

From the ones in my sig below, I'd recommend Exploding Planet, #200411. It should be thematic for your Willpower/Superstrong tank.

It is soloable, but the final mission is very tough. It's timed, with lots of mobs. I've gotten feedback from people thanking me for the great challenge even though they failed it, people cursing me for creating a debt-machine, people exultant from succeeding narrowly, etc. your mileage might vary. The final mission might be easier to complete solo than on a team, actually.

I forget the arc number, but my "Super Size Me" arc is soloable, depending on the final Elite Boss. I've only failed once with that. I'd recommend it for anyone who has a very large toon. The missions are designed to make you feel like you are 12 feet tall.

Virtue Server-

MA: (All SFMA, all technically long/very long, but all play quickly)

#200411 "Exploding Planet" (I apologize in advance for the final mission, but in all likelihood, the planet will explode.)

#144416 "Shadow of Grime Alley"

#161003 "You Don't Know Beanstalk, Jack"
