Who was your first AV?

Manticore in Mender Silos's TF.

Mother Mayhem, in an MA arc made by a friend. It was one of the first content I did after respeccing into my high-end build.

The first thing of note I soloed was actually a Pylon. I was coming back from an LGTF, wandered by Pylon 17, and thought: wait a minute... I can take that.

Neuron, actually.

My first was also Manticore in the Mender Silos TF on my DM/WP. It just happen that way. I had no idea what that TF was about, I was just bored one day and thought I'd give it a shot. Doing mission after mission blah blah then I get to this mission with the cut screen. I find him and see the Hero tag. I'm thinking "aww crap. I'm still on invincible". Too lazy to quit, leave the zone to lower the diff, and start all over, I just laid into him. I noticed the lack of dmg I was getting and his hp dropping slowly, I figured I could beat him. I did use a few reds though. After that, I was hyped up. I went in the next mission and saw silver mantis, clicked SOW, charged her, then clicked the go to hospital selection. After trip number 3, I came back in and took a look around then hit the quit TF button. Lol. I haven't tried to solo an AV since. Funny thing though. I remember the manticore automation in the rwz arc being a PITA on a team. This guy was a pushover.

Terra.

She was -4 (Yellow) and I was on Invincible, clearing out old missions on my kat/regen. Took me awhile, and she ran a lot, but all in all, it was fun

My first AV (after first taking out a few pylons) was Infernal. That was a fun night.

Chimera at lvl 47 (maybe it was lvl 44: I don't remember the exact lvl but I wasn't 50 and lacked Aid Self) on my FM/SR-Scrapper.

First was Dr. Vahz on my BS/Regen in issue 4; then Maestro on the same character a few days later.

Let's see, that character leveling up also got Terra, Anti-Matter and Bobcat I believe... it's been awhile ago and I didn't make any special notes. Generally I haven't bothered solo'ing AV's with anything, while I've played several builds that are capable it's just too boring.

I have absolutely no idea what the first AV I soloed was.

However, I went a little nuts tonight. Hopped into the AE a created a single map longbow mission with four defeat boss goals. Kept cycling through AVs. No insps, no temps.

Not quite sure how I feel about the results so far. The stalemates and defeats outweigh the wins. All of the following were chosen as AVs. I'm unsure why some AVs only spawn as level 51 while others spawn at 50. Those in the defeated category were all lvl 50.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever solo'd Nosferatu? I remember people getting his mission back in the day and screaming like wee school girls.

Completely forgot. Maestro in I4 with my DM/Regen. I dont remember doing the Dr V arc with that toon so dont think I solo'd him

Bill, some AVs, such as the RSF and STF ones, are level-locked. If you only used 45-54 AVs and they were still 51, it could have been because that part of the map spawned a level higher, if you didn't use an outdoor map.

Missions set to Invincible have both +2 and +3 spawns. If your AV spawned in a +3 area it might have raised the level.

You can force an 53+ AV to spawn at 50 by setting the max level of the mission to 50. If you do that though it'll auto-exemp you to 48 on Invincible, so you'll have to go to a lower diff and use fillers.

The 52-52s will spawn at 50 on Invincible if you set the mission to 50-52. The 51-51s keep spawning at 49 though, even if you set to 50-54 They might be 50 if you set the mission to 50-50 and go Tenacious with fillers? Silly AVs.

Edit: Victory is mine! Using the first bank map in the list, level range 50-53, Valkyrie, Sands, Luminary (all 51-51) all set to spawn to "middle," two out of the three will be 50, the other will be 49. Which one it is seems kinda random, but you can keep shuffling in AVs until you catch em all.

If he is using his claws/sr, I could imagine its a well rounded build.

Aye, this is my standard build. I changed the map to the burnt out Atlas Park map, and all AVs spawned at 50 when using the 40-54 range.

I did much better against BAB, got him down to half, but he popped dullpain a second time so I called the match. He took me out twice in the process.

Mynx was also a nogo. Once she hits with Followup, if I haven't gotten the heck out of dodge, it's game over. She also seems to hit more after she cranks on elude, which I found odd.

I know that things would be different for some of these were I to have aid self, but we all know that ain't happening.
