Costume Pieces

Where can I find a list of missions TF's or whatever else it is that I can run or need to do to unlock costume pieces? Can anyone help me with that. I mean those aside from the booster packs.

Can someone attach a link or list, please and thank you.

All unlockable pieces are listed here. At the top of the page are links to craftable and vet reward pieces.

Note that some of those pieces can only be unlocked during events (Winter, Valentines), through cash purchases (Valkyrie, Cyborg, etc), or are no longer available through the original means (Arachnos Helmets) in addition to the standard unlockables.

I hope you mean the costume pieces and not the costume slots. Costume slots are unlocked through the tailor at levels 20, 30, 40 and 50. You usually go to the Tailor in the back of the store. Level 20 is in Steel, 30 in IP, not sure where the level 40 and 50 ones are (haven't gotten a character to those levels yet, sorry)

Now costume pieces can be purchased through WW (unless you know someone who has a complete set they are willing to give/sell you), other wise you will have to wait for the Halloween Event. At that time you can trick or treat to earn the costume pieces. Watch the forums for the announcement when this event will take place (the Devs' announce it sometime in early/mid October) and for the specifics (level ranges for zones, other gifts given etc.)

You can also check Wikipedia it is a players best friend.

just my two cents...

No DOOM today, DOOM tomorrow. There's always a DOOM tomorrow.

There is no unlockable costume slot at level 50. You can acquire a fifth costume slot by turning in Halloween salvage to a specific NPC, but this can be done at any level.

You might be mistaking costume pieces with costume temp powers here. There have been no costume pieces that were available through trick-or-treating, but you did get temp powers that changed your character to resemble a member of a specific enemy group when activated.

Even better, check Paragon Wiki.

Though I'm pretty sure the question is about costume pieces not costume slots, in the interest of completeness, I'm going to add that:
  1. WingedAvenger is correct, there's no costume slot at level 50.
  2. The level 40 costume slot is available from the Icon in Founders' Falls.
  3. You go to the tailor in each location with an actual name (as opposed to "Icon Employee"): Serge in Steel Canyon, Lauren in Independence Port, and Carson in Founders' Falls.
  4. It's slightly different for villains, as there's only the one Facemaker location (in Cap au Diable), but there are three "slot contacts" inside, who open up at the same levels as the tailors heroside: the Facemaker herself, Gorgeous Glenda, and Lovely Linda.
  5. The "fifth" costume slot can be obtained at any time, by getting one's hands on four pieces of event salvage (Statesman Mask, Lord Recluse Mask, Back Alley Brawler Gloves, Hamidon Costume). These salvage pieces can be purchased at Wentworth's or the Black Market if you've got the spare inf (you're probably looking at somewhere between a million and 2.5 million total, depending on the market), or you can wait for the annual Halloween event and find them yourself by trick-or-treating. Bring one of each to either Annah by the train station in Croatoa or Granny Beldam's shack in Nerva Archipelago and the extra slot will be unlocked no matter what level you are.
  6. WingedAvenger is also 100% spot-on about ParagonWiki. Nearly every question asked in this section of the forums is answered with a link to that site.

FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.

Only the first two are in Cap. The Third is in St. Martial.

Correction here. The level 20 and 30 are in Cap. The level 40 is in St. Martial.

There, you see? This is what I get for not checking ParagonWiki.

This is turning into a 'Who's On First'.

The Halloween event allows you to get pieces of salvage based on cheap Halloween costumes- Lord Recluse Mask, Statesman Mask, Back Alley Brawler Gloves and Hamidon Costume. Once you get one of each, you can take them to either Annah (heroside, on the south side of the train station in Croatoa) or Granny Beldam (villainside, on a small island north of the entrance point into Nerva) to unlock an extra costume slot.

Yeah, there seemed to be a bit of confusion between unlockable Costume Pieces (invention recipe wings/boots; ITF roman costume; veteran reward costumes; etc) and unlockable Costume Slots (quests at 20/30/40 or turning in Halloween salvage).

Incidentally the fastest way to get to Granny B is to take a supergroup teleporter to Nerva. It drops you off right next to her.

And if that's unavailable, just head north from Nerva's natural store - puts you right in line for her.

Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

It says something about this game that people will go to much more effort to obtain fancy clothes and cosmetic accessories than they will to get the best loot.

That's one of the reasons I love it.

I was talking about costume pieces, not costume slots.

I see some hats that I don't have access too, and other things like that. I have Mac edition and the Cyborg, gonna get the next two soon, but was more looking for other pieces in game that are unlocked or from recipes, missions and so on.

This may have been what myskatz was referring to. These also can mistakenly be called "costume pieces" since they are themed as Halloween costumes.
