I thought that was what the legions of loyal minions was for? are we not going with the loyal minions legions now? Because we start production in a week you know and stopping before that would be better all round...

Yeah... um... about that...

There might be a slight delay now, because Acme may have sent some parts to some Wile E. Coyote guy, and apparently there's a global shortage of earthquake pills, so we may have to push delivery back on this project.

No! It wasn't me! It was Supply Division! Not me! Have mercy Zortel! Have merceeeAAAIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

IIRC we do need, if not a passport per se, some kind of paperwork that effectively does what a passport does. I know I needed to show my passport on both sides of the Channel last year. The idea of unrestrained cross-border travel within the EU was one thing when it was conceived, but quite another later on when some people developed a habit of carting bombs and drugs about in disturbing quantities. Plus, Big Brother really does like to keep track of us, and that will never change.

No driving license, no ID card, nothing. I'm off the grid. I'm actually posting this from my secret bunker, where Bindweed is undergoing Rezortification and getting his hair brushed.

... In all serious though, I really should get a passport, but it's all a load of hassle to get something I'll barely use and cough up a chunk of cash that could go towards building my second box. >.>

We should hold it in Norfolk, equally inconvenient for everybody but us

Seriously I'd love to attend one of these, Amsterdam would be fun. Can play the usual game of "How many times do you get offered drugs between the station and the tourist information just outside".

It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba

You need a full passport still AFAIK. The only exception is Ireland & the UK where any form of semi-official Photo Id will do*. Other EU countries I think you still need a passport. Some EU countries might have the same sort of agreement between them too though.

(* Ireland to Northern Ireland you don't do anything except drive from one to the other of course)

Yep indeedy do, drove from Denmark to Brumland earlier this year and that pesky channel trip required a passport flash.

Brumland is easy for me to get to, as is Norfolk, though everyone could be uber and shiny and stuffs and just hold it in Sheffield...or even better Chesterfield so I dont waste much Petrol :P

I think the last big player meet I went to was Omega Sektor so one is definitely due...

I'll learn!

Ireland and the UK are not part of the Shengen Area, therefore passports are needed for travel between the islands and continental europe.

While I think its only fair if we forget meeting locally (ie Europe) and we should all head to LA or Mexico (forgetting about the dreaded H1N1 virus for a sec). Amsterdam works, I would be up for this providing the costs were kept pretty low. October or decembers good, Easter too.

(posting from my iPhone so apologies for any silly words I missed)

Anywhere outside of the UK is not so good for me.. I'm in a wheelchair and have serious medical issues that prohibit me from travelling far Birmingham would be fine as i used to live there, and know most of the places that are wheelchair friendly.
