Atlas medallion badge

Okay I'm trying to get this badge. Does anyone know a relatively painless way to get the The Silver Bullet Badge (Defeat 200 Council Warwolves) and the The Slayer Badge ( Defeat 200 Council Vampyri)?

I found a place in Striga where I can find packs of wolves that have 1 warwolf in each but I was wondering if there was an easier way.
I have no idea where to fight Vampyri though.

So does anyone know good places or missions to get these?

Any wolf counts towards the badge. So just kill the wolf packs until you get the badge.

And Vampyri are also plentiful in Striga. I believe the area they hang out it is called The Bog, but only come out at night.

Run the Moonfire Task Force. (23-28 for XP)

On a full team you get close to full progress on both.

All of the wolves count for the badge, not just the bosses.

At night you can find vampyrs in The Bonny Morass, especially around the north "Vampyr Mountain".

Unless they've changed the requirement, only the Warwolves count towards this badge. But to confirm this, all you need do is watch your progress bar on the badge as you kill wolves.

Moonfire TF, as mentioned above will pretty much cover both badges if you don't fast track the TF (sneaky ghosty ninja stuff) Kill everything.

Other then that, Striga in the Bog is the best way. Something I do is get a level 50 buddy to do the kills for me. Makes it all so much faster.

Thank you all for the replies.
If I remember correctly only the warwolves count for the badge. (But I'll double check it when I get the chance.)

I'm off to Striga then.

All the wolves count for the badge.

If you can get a couple people with you, it goes pretty fast.

There's also a flashback mission that you can use via Ouroboros that's all vampires which knocks it out quick.

Ah that would be great. Do you happen to know the name of that mission?

I'm pretty certain its only the WarWolves. And not just cuz the Wiki says so, but when I've hunted for this badge, I've only noted progress on the progress bar when WarWolves were killed.

No. I've done it too many times to count. Any and all the wolves from Bonny Morass or mission (real ones) count for the badge. Just get a team and wipe it out fast. Also wait for night to get the Vamps. All in Stiga Isle.

Also... The puppies like to run so get someone to do some DoT on them to do them in.

I too have hunted this badge, and killing all the wolves counted, because it would've taken about 500x longer if they hadn't.

all the wiki says is a copy of the ingame text. Don't take it as a strict interpretation.

This. War Wolf is a type of Council enemy, not just a specific name.
You can also kill Nightwolf (Minion) and Nightwolf Champion (Lt) for credit toward this badge.

Not so much to beat a dead horse, but mostly because we can do it on these new forums, I took some screen shots:

I defeated two Eclipse Nightwolves, and you can see the progress on the badge meter. Oh and the dead night wolf

Wiki entry on War Wolves. Any of these count. That's how it's always been, except when the badge was for 5th council wolves, and it was any of those back then.

If I recall correctly, minions count as one, Lieutenants count as two and Warwolves (Bosses) count as three on the progress bar. I read that somewhere, and my experience seemed to back that up. But now, with the New and Improved Progress Bars, this hypothesis can be tested.

The first time I got the badge, I, too, only went after the Warwolves. Imagine my surprise when I was running on a team through Striga missions with another hero and got the badge even though Warwolves had been few and far between.

Unless you run the missions or TF, you wind up doing a LOT of street-sweeping for those badges.

Whew! I was thinking you were going to bring in The Count to demonstrate that all wolves count!

huh... then they must have changed it at some point, because I'm sure that only the boss wolves used to be the only ones that counted.
EDIT: that also means that I wasted 45 minutes last month only killing the bosses around the bog and graveyards... poop.

They changed it a long while ago if I recall correctly. Because people were having trouble with the counts and it took way too long to do for each toon.

All Wolves have counted for years now, and each individual enemy, regardless of rank, counts for ONE credit toward the 200 required.

To the OP, the easiest way I've found to do this is to bring a 50 along and have him/her kill Wolves in The Bog area until night cycle begins, and then switch to Vampyri. Both badges can usually be obtained in 2-4 repititions (the bigger your team, the faster it goes).

The wiki moved to the Titan Network some time back. My understanding is that the site you linked to is no longer being maintained (no idea why it hasn't been shut down).
