However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator

Whilst I am not entirely sure that my surname Scots or Irish, cant find any information earlier than the mid 1600's, I can say that I am the proud owner of a couple of these "man skirts" as she calls them and I will happily do the same. Then again, I don't get a chance to chase girls anymore. My wife frowns on that kind of thing.

Badging in a PvP zone?

If you are treasure hunting on a battlefield wearing an enemy uniform, there is a high probability that you will be attacked.

This is an enjoy-the-ride game. "50" is only a number, not the goal of the game. - Noxilicious

My family name, Lynch, was originally Norman/Frankish. But we all moved to Ireland, it would seem...

been told you can't throw a rock in Dublin without hitting a Lynch

Hello from Saint Louis! Which is in Missouri, but hated as the 'wicked big city' throughout the rest of the state

There is no such thing as an "innocent bystander"

We're McIlroys, I am pretty sure it goes back to the UK. Do you have a little Scottish in you? While my first response that I thought of made me giggle and might get me mod-smacked, I can say that there is a clan Scott so your chances are good.

My married name is Quinn so I figure that'd be Irish...

You do realise that whilst wearing these "manskirts" us Scots also carry knives neatly stowed in our socks, just in case some golden haired people utter such blasphemous statements in our presence...

Hence the old joke "it's called that because ye'll be kilt if ye call it a skirt"?

Unless you hire one, in which case they give you a stupid little moulded plastic thing... because obviously hiring a kilt was the easiest and cheapest way of getting your hands on a knife if you wanted to hurt someone! I hadn't been aware the Skean Dhu was the weapon of choice for neds everywhere.

Greetings from Guernsey, a small island in the English Channel you've probably never heard of - it's near Jersey, no not the new one... the one between England and France... no, I'm not French or English, nor European for that matter, but I am British. Confusing, eh? Just imagine the Cayman Islands with less sun, more pubs, just as many banks, more castles/towers/bunkers, and French road names that most visitors here can't pronounce - and yes, that seems normal to us
