So........
I re-downloaded COH last week using this new fangled NCsoft launcher and everything went well, got onto the game a few times over the last few days and all was good.
I've just just switched on the PC and am told that the Launcher has failed to start, double clicked the desktop icon and was met with this....
NCsoft Launcher Update Error
"Error Code: 13 (ProductConfigurationLoadError):
There was an error loading the product configuration file 'C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Launcher\Config\Default\NCPatcherConf ig\Products\NCLauncher\Main\NCPatcherProductConfig .xml'.
Please make sure the game is properly installed."
Now, i konow the game is installed cos ive played it, so am i missing something or is this a problem others have had?
any help appreciated -
Just claimed myself a EU code, as happy as a pig in ****

I Tip my hat in your general direction young lady!!
Awsome work -
Great game, my only disappointment was the fact that all these pro footballers feel the need to to roll about on the floor at the slightest touch on them, lets bring in video replay and get that out of the game once and for all.
Back on topic though, go Inter, looking forward to the final now!! -
Why dont you run off to your little hole wherever that is a leave me to do as i please, you are the type that is forcing prices up at the market!!

Quote:I'm getting the same mate, it's been like that since this afternoon when main sever went off for maintainance!i cant even get the test to start up from clicking on the shortcut icon.
I get a "Update - Error" saying "failed to rename C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes Test\cohupdater.exe to C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes Test\cohupdater.prv"
The update window comes up but closes down right away and get the Error message come up, even tried setting up the test server from the start and still getting the same.
Anyone know whats going on here plz? -

Quote:Oh yeah, what about this thenWell you're entitled to your opinion of course, but I disagree, and think that comparing the movie industry to swallowing poisons is a little extreme lol.
I sympathise with you, and i agree it would be lovely if there were more films made showing the wonderful tales of heroism from all nationalities that have happened over the years (my own personal wish would be to see a film made of the story of The Orzel http://orporzel.prv.pl/)
It's not just the US that rewrites history in order to make it more entertaining for its audience, however. Enigma, the movie supposedly showing how the Enigma Machine was cracked in WWII, makes the traitor Polish, when in reality the only traitor at Bletchley park was British, and the Poles had a great deal to do with the cracking of the Enigma machine in reality. In was an American funded film, but the screenplay was written by the British playwright Tom Stoppard, and the book its based on, which also makes the same IMO grevious affronts to Poland was written by Richard Harris, a British novelist.
Going back further, plenty of British films do the same thing. The 1969 British film The Battle of Britain marginalizes the Polish air squadron 303 which was in fact responsible for the highest number of enemy casualties in the entire Battle. The great film Zulu makes the Swedish missionary Otto Witt out to be an alcoholic coward, when in fact he was neither. The Bridge Over The River Kwai's treatment of Risaburo Saito is historically innacurate as well.
So when you're banging on about the US and their penchant for being historically innacurate, remember that you can't claim that the UK is innocent of the exact same thing you're complaining about.
