Can't log in to Test.

Downloaded the new patch, tried to log on.
I received the "account name or password is incorrect " pop up,
twice.

Switched to live and was able to get in.
Tried Test one more time and got "problem in the database" pop up.

Logged into Forums () no problems.

This hitting anybody else?
Or did I miss another announcement?

Has your account been inactive at all recently? Even a lapse of a day or hours matters here. Synchronization between the Test and Live accounts takes a bit of time and can take up to a few days.

I was able just now to get in with no problem, but at the time of your post it was 2:48 AM on the west coast. There may have been a small maintenance program running on the test login server, some database maintenance such as one of the regular backups or something similar that takes very little time but is scheduled for the wee hours of the morning on the west coast.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Just for the record, the account is not new, and has never lapsed.

I was able to login just a lil bit ago.

Must been transient DB work, or sunspots... or maybe just to dang early
for the DB host to be bothered!

i cant even get the test to start up from clicking on the shortcut icon.

I get a "Update - Error" saying "failed to rename C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes Test\cohupdater.exe to C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes Test\cohupdater.prv"

The update window comes up but closes down right away and get the Error message come up, even tried setting up the test server from the start and still getting the same.

Anyone know whats going on here plz?

I'm getting the same mate, it's been like that since this afternoon when main sever went off for maintainance!

Copy cohupdater.exe to the Desktop and run it from there. Not a shortcut to it, copy the file there. If it asks where to install to point it to your Test installation directory.

Having trouble logging in myself. It starts up gets to "download file manifest", goes to "fixing files: piggs/texVWworld.pigg" and then I get an error box "the cohupdater.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"

We can´t do much testing if we can´t even start the game.
They don't offer Technical Support through the forums. For Technical Support you will need to go to the PlayNC website and file a Support Ticket.
