That'll be the Hellfire Whip he mentioned before the forums went down.
If it's a pet buff, I'd imagine it'd be something that'd enhance the demon's rage (damage)

Definitely a new travel power. Anyone who ever played Pitfall knows how whips are the way to get around.
The funny thing is that I can imagine swinging, doing a somersault at the apex and whipping out to the next anchor point. It'd look cool no matter how silly a concept it actually is.
Whips would be amazing, it could be added to both melees and ranged characters after MMs! Even better, I'd be willing to compromise on not getting my MA/Pistol Dominator Assault set for a Pistol/Whip set!

Kinda wonder if this will be the primary blasts only or if this will be significant to the secondary as well. They could just port the fire buff/debuff they already have of course.

Is anyone at Paragon Studios a smoker? BABs is going to want to work on that "flicking the ciggie out of the beautiful assistant's mouth" trick.

I tweeted back to BAB to keep in mind that the first upgrade has a 50 foot range. It might not look good if the pet is too far away, or conversely too close.
